Online stores HMV, Amazon and Play are claiming that pre-orders for the digital download of the track are out of control. HMV’s Gennaro Castaldo said “We’re getting record levels of pre-orders for ‘Everybody Hurts’. It is well on course to become a million seller, easily the biggest selling single for a decade.” I’m glad to hear that it’s doing so well because that means more lives can be helped. I hope ‘We are the World’ will be just as successful in raising money.
Well, well… it seems that the singer does care about his former wife getting re-married… at least a bit. It seems that Peter Andre let flow a few tears during an interview in which he was asked about the possibility of Alex Reid wanting to adopt his children. This is what Peter Andre said on the matter, amidst his tears: “No one is going to take my kids away from me and I will fight to the death for that. Nobody is going to take my children away from me. I will go to court. I don’t want to talk about this.” A fighter to the end! Too bad he could fight it until the end of the interview. Invictus star Matt Damon said the Bourne movies were an ‘incalculable’ help to his career.
Damon, 49, has played the role of Jason Bourne in all three of the hit movies and said appearing in the film has led him to some great projects.
He said: “It’s incalculable how much Jason Bourne has helped my career.
“Suddenly, it put me on a shortlist of people who could get movies made.
“Since then, I’ve been able to do films that had wonderful scripts but, on the face of it, were not going to be box-office successes like Syriana, The Departed and The Good Shepherd.”
He added: “I’ve been around long enough to fall in and out of favour, and it’s been instructional.”
Supermodel Gisele Bündchen has given women another reason to be jealous after claiming giving birth was painless.
The 29-year-old beauty – who welcomed son Benjamin on December 8 – said the water birth was so comfortable that she didn’t need any anesthesia.
“It wasn’t painful, not even a little bit,” Bündchen said.
“The whole time, my head was so focused – every contraction, the baby is closer, the baby is closer. So, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh, what pain.’ It was, ‘With every contraction, he is getting closer to me.’”
Bündchen had her home water birth in the Boston apartment she shares with her husband American Football quarterback Tom Brady, 32.
During the delivery Bündchen said she wanted to feel every sensation.
“I wanted to be conscious and present for what was happening,” she said.
“I didn’t want to be anesthetised. I wanted to feel.”
Bündchen added that her recovery was also remarkably quick.
“The second day, I was walking, I was washing dishes, I was making pancakes in the kitchen.”
George Clooney’s flick Batman And Robin has been voted as the worst film of all time in a new poll.
The movie, which also starred Chris O’Donnell and Uma Thurman, was released in 1997 and cost £90million to make.
The film was criticised for the Batsuits that were worn as well as its “overblown” script.
Empire magazine’s poll was looking for the “most disastrous movie”.
John Travolta’s sci-fi flick Battlefield Earth came in second place, with Mike Myers movie The Love Guru in third place.
British comic Russell Brand has revealed that he and fiancée Katy Perry are “still deciding” on the details for their wedding.
Brand, 34, proposed to the I Kissed A Girl singer, 25, over the New Year and, speaking at the recent Grammy Awards, he said they have not made any firm plans yet.
The actor-comedian said: “We are going to do the wedding naked! All the families will be naked!”
But he added: “We’re still deciding what to do. There’s no juicy details yet.”
Brand also said that he is very happy with his life at the moment.
He said: “I’m getting married to a beautiful woman. I’m enjoying my work.”

David Beckham is reportedly set to have his life turned into a new comic.
The book will be called Fame: David Beckham and is just one in a series of comics based on the lives of famous stars.
It is claimed the new picture book will feature his days as a footballer, as well as his personal life with wife Victoria, 35.
Rich Johnson, from the website bleedingcool.com, which has a picture of the cover, said: “It’s sure to go into all his trials and tribulations, his marriage to Victoria and his squeaky voice.

Reality star Kim Kardashian said she’s put on weight over the past few days by eating too many beignets.
The 29-year-old told her Twitter followers that she had been eating too many of the sugary snacks while in New Orleans supporting boyfriend Reggie Bush and his American football team, the New Orleans Saints.
She said: “OK – I have a photo shoot in two days and it’s not funny how many beignets I have eaten – this is not ok.”
Kardashian was talking about the popular New Orleans’ snacks and she later added a message saying: “About 2 hit the gym right now.”
Twilight star Kristen Stewart has said there was “nothing romantic” about her kissing scenes with Dakota Fanning in new movie The Runaways.
Stewart, 17, is taking on the role of Joan Jett in the biopic of the hit all-girl 70s band.
Talking about the kissing scenes, she said to E! Online: “It’s just something we did. In this story, it’s so not a romantic thing. It’s just something that they just do.”
She added: “We had so many other really crazy things that we were intimidated by, like, we had a performance that day.
“So when that came up on the schedule we were like: ‘Whoa!’ But then: ‘Alright, whatever.’ It was sort of just like another thing.”

Hollywood star Tobey Maguire lost a staggering 20lbs in just two weeks for his latest movie Brothers.
The actor stars alongside Jake Gyllenhall and Natalie Portman in the movie about a traumatised soldier who returns home after his family and wife think he has been killed in action.
The movie’s director Jim Sheridan has now revealed that the Spider-Man star went on a crash diet for the role.
Maguire severely restricted his calories and exercised for hours every day to play the part.
Sheridan said: “We went to Camp Pendleton and a few army bases and we spoke to a few marines.
“Over Christmas, he went on a diet and exercised every day. We had a two-week break and he lost 20lbs.”
Sheridan also revealed he believed the physical transformation was necessary for Maguire’s psychological one.
He added: “You needed that moment when he looked gaunt and ravaged when he has the gun at the end,” said Jim.
“By the time we got there, he was kind of crazy and he’d lost his fun but he was great to work with and I think he’s great in the movie.”
Movie beauty Sandra Bullock paid tribute to her “really hot” husband Jesse James after winning Outstanding Actress at the SAG Awards and told him: “I want you so much.”

John and Edward Grimes, 18, will release Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby), featuring 90s star Vanilla Ice on January 31.
The adorable twin act that stormed The X Factor despite really bad vocals looks set for stardom, having signed with Louis Walsh. Vanilla will no doubt add to their offering.
Jedward said: “A year ago, we were training for cross-country competitions and now like our idols, we are living our dream – we really can’t believe that we have a single out and are performing with Vanilla Ice.”

The father of tragic heiress Casey Johnson has spoken publicly about his daughter’s death for the first time.
Woody Johnson, the owner of the New York Jets American football team, said his life has been turned upside down since Casey, 30, was found dead in her Los Angeles home earlier this month.
Johnson, who reportedly fought back tears as he spoke, added: “There’s no way to bring her back. I wish I could change it, but I can’t. This has been a brutal couple of weeks personally.
“I think of [Casey's death] all the time.”
Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey was found dead on January 4.
A coroner’s report into the cause of her death is expected to be published soon.
Her death sparked rumours that she had battled serious drug abuse in previous months and had been living in squalor despite her family’s wealth.
It follows reports that Casey was planning to release a sex tape of herself and ex-girlfriend Courtenay Semel to land a reality show.
Ugly Betty star America Ferrera has spoken out about prejudice in Hollywood, admitting that she once dyed her hair blonde in a mock attempt to fit in.
The 25-year-old actress made her comments in the latest issue of US magazine, Bust.
She said: “There was a part in this movie with this director who shall remain nameless… They were holding off on the female role, depending on if the male role was Latino or not.
“They didn’t want to put two Latinos in the same movie, because then it would be ‘a Latino movie’.
“So… I thought if I dyed my hair blonde, I could play anything.”
She added: “It was obviously very sarcastic: is it really the colour of my hair or the colour of my skin that’s going to stop you from giving me this role that I could be really good at?
“So I stripped my hair. I looked f****** crazy.”
Talking abut her role as dowdy Betty in the hit US sitcom, she said: “I heard about Ugly Betty – before I was even cast in the role – when Salma [Hayek, the show's producer] came to me and said: ‘I want you to do this’.
“I just had an intuition that this … show was going to really connect to an audience and I am the right person to do this.”
Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck and Ashley Tisdale are the latest celebs to sign on for the Haiti Telethon.
Actor George Clooney, 48, has put the telethon together to raise funds for the relief effort in the Caribbean island of Haiti, which was recently hit by an earthquake killing tens of thousands of people.
DiCaprio, Affleck and Tisdale are the latest to sign up for the telethon, along with Ellen DeGeneres, Jason Bateman and Tobey Maguire.
Country singer Taylor Swift, 19, will be performing in LA during the telethon as well as answering calls for the phone bank.
Selena Gomez was recently spotted with Nick Jonas in Chicago as both of them got off his tour bus recently.
