New Moon star Kellan Lutz has denied that he ever had a relationship with actress AnnaLynne McCord.

Lutz, 24, who plays Emmett Cullen in the hit vampire series, was rumoured to be dating 90210 star McCord, 22, and there were reports that they split in October.

However speaking on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM show, Lutz said: “Oh. No. Never have been. I’ve known her for six years, and we met again on the set [of 90210], but we shot Abercrombie [catalogs] way back in the day.”

He added that ’she’s single, and I’m very much single’.

Talking about his love life, he said: “I don’t really think about who I want to date. I kind of fall into situations, and then I’m like: ‘Oh, I’m dating you now’.”

Vampire flick New Moon has become the biggest advance ticket-seller in Hollywood history, according to a movie ticket agency spokesperson.

The new flick, which is the latest chapter in the Twilight saga, has beaten the 2005 movie Star Wars: Episode III Revenge Of The Sith, according to online ticket agency Fandango.

It is claimed that New Moon, which stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, has had 86 per cent of the ticket sales this weekend.

Thousands of tickets for the Thursday night midnight shows have already sold out across the US, and some cinemas are putting on extra screenings to cater for demand.

Fandango’s chief operating officer Rick Butler said: “For many fans, it’s clearly the year’s most anticipated film event. Ever since tickets went on sale on 31 August, it’s been among our top five weekly ticket-sellers, as New Moon has a strong pull on audiences.”

He added: “We’re seeing a higher-than-than-usual number of tickets per transaction for this film, suggesting that moviegoers will show up en masse at theatres this weekend with their friends and family.”

The first movie in the saga, Twilight, sold over $383.6m in ticket sales worldwide and producers are hoping New Moon will exceed this.

It seems that God’s plan for time is not working too well for Taylor Swift. The artist who recently made country music history at the awards this year’s has proved through sales that she deserved the prizes she received. It seems Taylor Swift is the only artist to have sold more albums than Michael Jackson this year. And imagine that she didn’t even have to leave this world for that to happen. Her fan base must be growing at an alarming rate, a sort of swarm some might say. Well, there should be credit given where credit is due. You guessed it: Kanye West… he most certainly played an important part in drawing attention toward Taylor Swift… this must have been his plan all along, the little genius!

Bright young actress Emmy Rossum started her relationship with Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz on Twitter.

She told a radio show: “I was on tour with the band this summer. They invited me actually on Twitter. That’s how we met – on a dare. They dared me to come sing with them a song that I’d never sung before. So I ended up on tour with the band, and it was very, very fun.”

Rossum is emerging from a marriage break-up with Justin Siegel in August. She said: “I’m not asking for anything except freedom so that I can move on to another chapter in my life, and find happiness.

“It’s hard to have a private life and keep it private and hope that people don’t pick you apart.”

Miley Cyrus went to see the Broadway musical ‘Rock of Ages’ on Tuesday night and rumor is going around that director Adam Shankman wants to cast the singer in the upcoming movie version of the musical. The two have worked together on ‘The Last Song’, which comes out next year. Apparently, Adam wants to cast Miley in the role of Sherrie. It looks like the Disney star is really getting into acting. Miley also got to hang out backstage with members of the cast including Kerry Butler, who plays Sherrie on the musical, James Carpinello and American Idol alum Constantine Maroulis.

Taylor Swift won the Song of the Year award for her song ‘Love Story’ at the 2009 BMI Country Awards at BMI on Tuesday in Nashville, Tennessee. The 19-year old country singer won the trophy for the second year in a row. Taylor said “I just want to say to every songwriter and every loved one of a songwriter, thank you, because you are the reason I wanted to try Nashville. You are all my heroes.” Congratulations to Taylor for all the accomplishments she’s had this year. I’m pretty sure that there are loads more to come. The year isn’t quite over yet and we all know that her career is far from over.

Twilight movie director Catherine Hardwicke strongly suggested co-stars Robert Pattinson, 23, and Kristen Stewart, 19, have firmed as an item now that Stewart has come of age.

Hardwicke, 54, who directed the first movie of the red-hot Twilight series, recalled: “After I cast him, I told Rob, ‘Don’t even think about having a romance with her. She’s under 18. You will be arrested.’”

She was speaking to Time magazine, recalling the days when Pattinson and Stewart – strongly rumoured to be back together – first met up in Los Angeles.

Pattinson had flown in to test for the indelible role of Edward Cullen. The director continued: “I didn’t have a camera in the hotel room. I cannot say. But in terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn’t happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film.”

Fast forward to the present, Hardwicke added: “I think it took a long time for Kristen to realise, OK, I’ve got to give this a go and really try to be with this person.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has blasted critics who have called her sister Jessica Simpson fat.

The singer-turned-actress said she has had enough of the nasty jibes about big sis Jess.

She said: “It’s disgusting that people would say those things.

“My sister has an incredible body. I feel sorry for anyone who would judge her, because she’s one sexy lady.”

And Ashlee, 25, said that one day she’d like to look more like voluptuous Jessica, 29.

She tells a US magazine: “There’s gonna be a time when I’m way curvier, and that’ll be sexy, too.”

Actress Molly Sims, 36, defended her former Las Vegas co-star Josh Duhamel who has been hit with allegations of two-timing his celebrity wife Fergie.

Sims said: “Don’t believe everything you read. We e-mailed yesterday. It’s absolutely not true – and he’s a great guy. I’ve worked with him for five years.”

Sims believes the couple has been targeted in a bid to make “a lot of money”. She said: “Josh is a great guy and it’s sad ’cause his wife is amazing, too.”

Duhamel has denied the charge that he had a night of sex with stripper Nicole Forrester in Atlanta. Forrester made the allegation in a story she sold to the tabloid National Enquirer for $20,000.

His representative said: “This is not the first, nor will it be the last, time that a stripper was paid a large amount of money to sell a false story about a celebrity. This story is absolutely ridiculous.”

New Moon star Kristen Stewart said she’s ‘kinda boring’ as she wants to stay in all the time.

Stewart, 19, plays the role of Bella Swan in the vampire movie series and admitted that she’d much rather stay at home and have a quiet night in than go out partying.

She said to UK magazine Mizz: “I’m kind of boring! I’d rather stay at home than go out. I read a lot and I play guitar. I play a lot of guitar right now.”

Stewart, who reprises her role in the latest flick New Moon, also told of her desire to work on her writing skills as well as act.

She said: “I do want to work on my writing, because writing’s a skill. Writing is something that you can train yourself in.

“And it’s intimidating! I mean, I definitely will always do what I’ve been doing.

“I’ve also started taking a lot of pictures, and they help the writing. The pictures help the writing. I want to make books.”

Demi Lovato recently got around to clearing up all those rumors that she and Joe Jonas are having a little romance going on. The Disney star went on her Twitter saying “There’s been a lot of rumors lately that I’m dating one of my best friends Joe. I can promise my entire career that I am not. We’ve NEVER dated. He’s incredible, but we don’t have feelings for each other in that way. I love you guys, and I wouldn’t lie about that. It’s unfortunate that some people out there are so desperate for attention that they have to make up gossip to keep their site alive. But that’s how this whole city works I guess. New Moon star Kristen Stewart says both her hunky movie co-stars are great husband material.

“I’m sure they would both be great husbands,” she told Access Hollywood. “Taylor [Lautner] is like one of the most steady, sure [people] – he’s great, really just a good guy.

“And then if you’re into Rob [Pattinson], he’s really a more, sort of analytical, thoughtful, like wishy-washy intellectual, so it depends.”

Stewart’s character Bella gets her heart broken in the new instalment of the Twilight saga – and she says acting the part proved a tough challenge.

“The way it’s written in book is so epic and beyond what we consider in our realm of reality. We know what it’s like to get broken up with, to be depressed and sad but this is bigger. Whatever you think you’ve felt, it’s more – it’s death. This is so much greater than anything I’ve ever experienced.”

Katie Holmes has reportedly been spotted feeding her daughter Suri with a bottle.

The sighting has prompted another round of criticism of the three year-old’s upbringing.

“She should have been weaned off the bottle by the time she was one year old,” said Jennifer Shu, a paediatrician and co-author of Food Fights.

Holmes was seen feeding Suri with the bottle on the New York set of her new movie, The Romantics.

“By the time kids are nine months old, they have the physical development and mouth co-ordination necessary to be able to drink out of a sippy cup or a cup with straw. That development comes pretty early,” Shu told USmagazine.com.

Suri has also been seen recently carrying a Starbucks cup that was reported to be empty but which also prompted criticism.

Shu says she doesn’t know why Suri would be permitted a bottle, saying:”You don’t force kids to crawl when they can walk.”

But paediatrician Harvey Karp, creator of the DVD and book, The Happiest Toddler on the Block, added: “Sucking is normal for kids when they are tired or bored – as long as kids aren’t keeping the bottle in their mouths for hours. Thumb-sucking is more damaging.”

Twilight star Taylor Lautner has revealed that women in their 40s frequently ask him to sign their underwear.

Talking about his fans, the 17-year-old actor, who stars as werewolf Jacob Black in the movie saga, said: “I’ve had women in their 40s come up to me and ask if I can sign their underwear! The weirdest thing is that their daughters are with them.”

He added: “I’m at a signing and the mum and the daughter come up, and the mum is the one freaking out. The mums are crazier than the daughters, going: ‘Taylor, I’m wearing your Team Taylor panties, can you sign ‘em?’

“And the daughter’s in the background, going: ‘Urrghh, Mum!’”

The Jonas Brother has apparently caught a little bug lately… the bug however, has spawned offspring that have probably mutated causing Nick Jonas a more serious ailment that has determined the Jonas Brothers to cancel their show in Zurich. This is what the official statement about the cancellation reads: “We are sad to announce the cancellation of the Jonas Brothers concert for this evening in Zurich. Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is ill with an upper respiratory infection of the nose and throat and the doctor has advised that he not speak or sing. This is the first time that the Jonas Brothers have ever cancelled a show for sickness and deeply regret that they will not be able to perform as a group tonight.” There’s a first time for everything, isn’t there? Hopefully Nick Jonas will be successful in his battle against the throat-spawn… what would Zurich be if the Jonas Brothers didn’t eventually get to play there?
