Given that the most positive thing Lauryn Hill’s bandmates are saying about another potential Fugees reunion is “just keep praying,” the chances seem slim that we’ll see the trio of Wyclef Jean, Pras and Hill doing an album together again. The band should quickly decide on whether they wanna sing as a band together or take to music on their own. People have short memories as there as better things than remembering a band that hasn’t produced a single album in many years. Hill has also signed up for several dates, mostly at festivals, around the globe this summer. Stops in Dubai, Turkey and the Netherlands are all on her list, and in the U.S., she has four dates scheduled, including a free concert August 6 in Brooklyn, New York, as part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Concert Series. She shot to fame in the 90’s and we do remember her for that but if she is to make a mark with her band, she rather come out of the festival mood and do some serious work creating an album.

The lady has been on the scene for so many year and with there being loads of music artist in Canada fans could certainly forgotten her name, hence the introduction to the famous singer.Lavigne also took home the People’s Choice award as the favourite Canadian artist. Lavigne, known for her kind of tough-chick attitude, broke-down and cried as she accepted her award. Why cry – coz people and in particular her fans needed to be reintroduced to her fame.
