It’s becoming quite clear what elementary schoolers did on their summer vacations: They watched High School Musical 2. According to the Disney Channel, four out of every five girls aged 6-11 who watched TV on Friday night watched the record-setting premiere of HSM2. I think this sends a clear message to he networks; we’re ready for clean, fun television again. I, for one, am burned out on reality shows, physic-type babble, and violence. Television used to be able to be watched by the whole family - together at the same time. Now what passes for adult fare I wouldn’t want the kids watching and the networks that target kids are, for the most part, inane? Thank you, Disney Channel, for giving us some cute shows
