British actress Helena Bonham Carter, who recently starred in “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” is pregnant with her second child with director Tim Burton, according to published reports on Thursday.
News of the pregnancy was first reported on People magazine’s Web site on Wednesday, citing one of Bonham Carter’s publicists, with other media outlets picking up the story the following day.
Burton, 48, and Bonham Carter, 41, met during the filming of the 2001 movie “Planet of the Apes,” and they have one child together, who was born in 2003, though they are not married.
The actress and director have worked together on numerous films, including “Big Fish” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” as well as an upcoming adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.”

The trends in Hollywood never cease to be both strange and unappealing. Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Coldplay front man Chris Martin have announced potential plans to adopt a child. They have two young children as it is but it seems that Martin is pushing hard for the couple to adopt, following other star couples like Brad and Angelina. Gwyneth recently said that she’s open for anything so her hubby may get his wish. So drinking and driving is the trend for the young, un-established stars and adopting foreign kids is the new in for the older, more sophisticated bunch. Hollywood is getting weirder by the day. It’s like the Twilight Zone, you better stay away or you will never make it out alive. It’s just a continuous cycle of clawing your way up and crashing back down. I’m not sure what’s behind the adoption trend but it’s inappropriate to use a child as a prop or a tool for the press.

Jennifer Connelly is to star in He’s just Not That Into You, a comedy about modern-day relationships in the U S, which will also feature Drew Barrymore, Entourage’s Kevin Connolly and Alias’s Bradley Cooper.
Connelly will portray a woman stuck in a tired marriage with Cooper, while Barrymore, who is also the film’s producer, is cast as a woman perpetually confused by dating.
The movie is based on the best selling book by the same name written by Grag Behrendt and Liz Tucillo.
The book was originally based on a conversation that occurred while Tuccillo and Behrendt were writing for HBO’s hit series Sex and the City and eventually evolved into an episode on the show.
The plot line for the film will revolve around a woman who hosts a talk show and a man she becomes involved with after he guests on the show. Filming begins in early September.

Courtney Love has spoken out about on alleged comments Lily Allen made about her on MySpace.
The comments were widely reported, but Love said Allen claimed they were down to the fact that her MySpace site was hacked into.
Allen allegedly wrote: “I am not bfs (best friends) w/ (with) C (Courtney) Love, one night with her made me realise why Kurt (Cobain killed himself.”
Posting on Myspace.com/courtneylove, Love wrote: “Thanks to Lily Allen for her lovely apologising for having had her MySpace broken into.
“I wouldn’t pick on me if I was Miss Lily, as it wouldn’t take TOO much to swat, but we’ve known each other far too long, like each other far too much and if she was gonna say something nasty she has the acerbic wit and intelligence to say something cutting, that would actually really hurt, not some cliched hoary old chestnut some obsessed blogger would say.
“She tells me her MySpace was broken into – even if I REALLY think she did blog it mindlessly some 8am after being up far too long for a young healthy woman I don’t care and I appreciate and accept her thoughtfulness for apologising for what was printed, if she is telling the truth and it really doesn’t much matter – everyone slams everyone early in their careers, (Sonic Youth)’s Kim Gordon still slams me, I mean how much more boring can you get? (than Kim Gordon – slam!) Does anyone care?”

High School Musical star Zac Efron insists he is dedicated to his acting career – but isn’t prepared to drastically transform his physique for a film role. The 19-year-old star put on weight and dyed his hair black to play heart-throb Link Larkin in Hairspray, but admits he wouldn’t go any further to prepare for a role. You’re so right its fun playing with your hair i died my hair red for a school play it was fun to look a little different and I like your hair black it was cool and good singing in hairspray and high school musical. His smile too is nice and he looks rather cute. Once a girl told me I looked cute, on which I thought it wasn’t a nice compliment but I now think it was the best compliment I ever received from a female. Looking like a tough guy is something that all males transpire to be but cute looks are natural and cannot be made up.

Kylie Minogue could not hold back the tears at a party to celebrate two decades of pop success. The Australian pop princess cried as she accepted plaudits at the London bash to mark 20 years since her single Locomotion topped the Australian music charts. Her long-time manager, Terry Blamey, delivered a speech and was quoted as saying Minogue was a “sexy and strong” star. She is definitely very very sexy indeed, and though her manager said it, no one needs to because that’s a thing that’s written all over her – head to toe. The 20 years have been fantastic for her and we wish that the next 20 also be as sucessful as the first 20 have been. She has deleviered hit after hit album after album. She deserves all the success that has come her way and also deserves to be counted among the greats as she is.

Former Disney teen queen Hilary Duff took some time out of her busy schedule to do some charity work by serving the homeless at the ‘Hope Mission’ in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada last Wednesday. Immediately after arriving, Hilary donned on a Hope Mission apron and hat and served some men their lunch.
After completing her shift, the singer/actress expressed how wonderful the experience was. She said how the Hope Mission was a priority of hers, how she wanted to help and how rewarding it was for her. She also took some time to meet the kids of the staff and the board members.
Hilary Duff – the anti to Paris, Nicole, Lindsay and Britney.

Actress Claire Danes feared the worst when she became lost on a remote Scottish island after taking what she thought was a leisurely stroll. The 28-year-old was on the Isle Of Skye shooting new movie Stardust when a short walk turned into a nightmare. Ha Ha where were the Isle of Skye’s werewolves they would have gobbled her up in no time. They must have been eating at the steak and stien on wet muck road. Lucky for her. Or just wait a mintune, they might have spotted her alright and then just as a group made a decision that hey guys she is not that yummy, she is so thin that it won’t be enough for our breakfast. Then they say to themselves that 10-15 years ago I saw some Hollywood Stars and they has some skin on their bodies, but these days it more of a skeleton and ya more flesh showing off.
After more than a year and 260 episodes, 16-year old Bree, the main character on the Web drama “LonelyGirl15,” was killed off Friday at the hands of the religious cult that had chased her for the life-giving qualities of her rare blood type.
In her last appearance on the popular and influential Web show, Bree, portrayed by Jessica Lee Rose, lies lifeless on a table while her blood is transfused into one of the cult’s elders. The monotone of her flat-lining heart pierces the silence as her devastated friends watch from a distance.

But her death was not in vain! Setting the show up for its second season, Bree reveals in a post-mortem voice mail that the cult, “The Order,” is pursuing other girls with the same blood properties.
The Season One finale played out in 12 videos posted over a 12-hour period exclusively on MySpaceTV and the “LonelyGirl15″ Web site.
Starting next week, the show will continue with the same title with the remaining characters weighing what to do with Bree’s dire warning.
“I was real emotional, filming that,” Rose said. “I’m really going to miss filming ‘LonelyGirl.’”
Rose, who is a regular on the ABC Family show “Greek” and is in the upcoming film “Perfect Sport,” said she didn’t mind not having a more dramatic death scene.
“I didn’t want it to be over the top or cheesy,” she said.
Rose has come a long way since walking into an audition for a project titled “Children of Anchor Cove” in April 2006.
At first, she thought it was the kind of a scam they warned her about in film school a series of Internet videos for which she would not be paid, at least for a while.
Rose kept her jobs working at an Abercrombie & Fitch store and a TGI Friday’s while filming the first few weeks of “LonelyGirl15.”
But by September, the series had created a sensation, with stories appearing in major media outlets once it had been revealed that Bree was not a real 16-year-old posting video blogs on YouTube, but an actress playing a part in a scripted show.
The show continued to attract fans, and the cast developed into more of an ensemble. But as Rose’s career began to take off, the creators decided it was time to bring the plot to a close.
“This was a character who was meant to do the ceremony,” said Miles Beckett, one of the show’s three writer-producers. “It’s going to give the show a lot more space to breathe. Jessica is doing other things now, and we are excited about her future and her career.”
Rose hasn’t abandoned the Web. She is developing a new Web comedy that should launch later this year. And she has signed on to a TV project titled “E-lebrity,” along with fellow online stars Taryn Southern and Stevie Ryan.
Meanwhile, “LonelyGirl15″ will add new characters who will help battle the evil Order.

He may have sung about not wanting to get his heart broken but he couldn’t help but break a lot of hearts last Sunday. Billy Ray Cyrus, the father of ‘Hannah Montana’ star Miley Cyrus, did an autograph signing for thousands of fans at a Wal-Mart in Los Angeles and even made them cry.
He still has the capability to make people cry but the only difference now is that they’re crying for the absence of his daughter at the event. Yes, the young ones were heartbroken that their beloved idol was not part of the signing with her dad. She wasn’t exactly scheduled to appear, the kids were just being hopeful. It, after all, wasn’t her signing.

Katherine Heigl, who already has navigated the transition from television to film, is ready to embark on a new role as producer.
Heigl and her manager and mother, Nancy Heigl, have formed a production shingle and set up an untitled action-comedy at Fox 2000 that also will serve as an acting vehicle for the actress. Spyglass also is on board to produce the project, whose plot is being kept confidential.
“Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl is ready to embark on a new role as producer.
Heigl and her manager and mother, Nancy Heigl, have formed a production company and set up an untitled action-comedy at Fox. She will also star in the project, whose plot is being kept confidential.
An Emmy nominee this year for “Grey’s Anatomy,” Heigl became a bona fide film star with “Knocked Up,” which has grossed more than $145 million domestically. She stars in the Fox romantic comedy “27 Dresses,” which is scheduled for release in January.

I think most of us had predicted that The Simpsons movie was going to be a box office hit but now that the numbers are in, they certainly are impressive. It debuted at number one at the box office over the weekend bringing in 71.9 million dollars. Lasts weeks number one movie “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” plummeted to 19 million, a whopping 44% drop from last week. The latest Harry Potter movie was forced into third place. Box office trackers have said that it’s unprecedented to have the longest running sitcom in history as well as the number one movie. The Simpsons have been a family favourite since the 90s and I don’t see them fading in popularity any time soon. They have managed to create something that appeals to the masses and yet cannot be copied or compared to anything else. Homer Simpson is an unlikely American hero but one that real people can relate to, or in the very least laugh at.

What is it with celebrities naming their kid something strange? Jenna Elfman is an actress best known for her quirky role as Dharma on the hit sitcom “Dharma and Greg”. Her son weighed in at a healthy seven pounds, two ounces. The name Jenna bestowed upon the baby is Story Elias. Her publicist released a statement that Story wants to give props to his mom for all of the hard work. Despite being pregnant Jenna had recently in a short video on the website, funnyordie.com. It’s been quite a while since I have heard anything about her in the press. She must not be working as much in recent years. I’m sure she will be out of sight for some time now that she has little Story to take care of. I wonder if she has considered the many outcomes for his future that will be determined by his name. Most likely not anymore than Gwyneth Paltrow did when naming her daughter Apple.
