It was rumoured the Fallout Boy bassist had filed claims against Canadian band Neurosonic, to prevent them from releasing a song which basically takes the mickey out of his missus, Ashlee Simpson.
Neurosonic wrote the song, So Many People, in response to Simpson’s disastrous TV performance on Saturday Night Live in 2004 which caught her lip-synching
But Wentz claims that the reports of a cease a desist notice sent to the rockers are untrue. He insists he doesn’t know anything about the band or their song; “If your songs are good then sleep easy and have fun playing them - just don’t attach me to them.”

Sources say former Friends star Matthew Perry is set to play the grown-up version of Zac Efron’s character in the upcoming “17″. Can you see the resemblance?

Zac was already slated to play the 17 year old, and Leslie Mann will play the part of Perry’s wife.

Actresses and singers Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale took to the stage at two points of the awards show. One time was to present an award and another was to accept an award. The cast took home an award for Favority Soundtrack Album. They were later joined by fellow stars `Ryne Sanborn, Kaycee Stroh and Monique Coleman to pose with the award.
It’s a first for former boy band member and Dancing With the Stars alum Joey McIntyre. He and his wife Barrett welcomed a new baby boy on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the family said, “The family is happy and healthy. Everyone’s doing well and they’re excited he made it here in time for Thanksgiving.”
McIntyre expressed his admiration for his wife and for the miracle she brought into this world. He is quoted as saying, “My wife is a rock star!”
It was St. Patrick’s Day when 34-year-old McIntyre found out he and his 29-year-old wife were expecting. He stated, “Being an Irish guy, that’s a good luck charm!”
While the 7 lb. 12 oz. baby was born on Tuesday, no name has been released. Sources say the parents are still deciding on the name.

There has been ongoing ‘rumors’ about Ashley Olsen and Lance Armstrong hooking up for the past few weeks and frankly its got a lot of people surprised. 36 year old Lance wants to put to rest the rumors that they are actually hooking up by saying that they are just friends. It is the same situation with Hayden/Milo. The girl was jailbait and he waited in the background until her 18th birthday. That is creepy and predatory behavior. No one has any morals anymore. Scary. Hayden Panettiere’s heroic dolphin-saving mission last month wasn’t without its consequences. “I learned that they have an arrest warrant out for me in Japan,” the Heroes star told. Panettiere, 18, was part of a convoy of activists from the U.S. and Australia who on Oct. 30 paddled out on surfboards to protest the annual slaughter of dolphins and whales by Japanese fisherman. I totally support her. These are endangered animals and if we don’t do something about it we will never have any more. I am never going to eat sushi again after learning that is what could be. I would never go to Japan after this, all they do is think for themselves. I lived by some Japanese people and they were very mean towards me and my family. Not to say that I’m racist. If you tell me that Ashlee Simpson is born to lead, I’d laugh in your face. But the singer did walk the gray carpet at the 2007 CosmoGIRL Born to Lead Awards at NYC’s Hearst Tower on Tuesday so I have to laugh at a lot of people now.
This year’s honorees included the singer/actree, Eva Amurri, Fall Out Boy, Jordin Sparks and the Jonas Brothers. They were all chosen for making their personal dreams come true or making a positive change in their communities. Ashlee made her dreams come true? I wasn’t even sure that she still has a job. I can’t imagine any sane parent using this kid as a role model let alone paying 2 thousand dollars for a ticket for her show.

Lily Allen, the singer who first gained success on MySpace, will be getting more success when she launches her own TV show for BBC3 next year. Incidentally, the singer will base her new show on the social networking phenomenon that helped launch her career.
Lily says that she’s very excited about it and that she has a lot of ideas for the show. But most ideas are reportedly going to come from her virtual friends. Viewers who will consist of Lily’s online friends will be able to contribute to topical discussions, presenting parts of the show and even choosing the guests.
