While no official word is out, it appears that the pregnant teen star may just be dropping out. For those of you living under a rock, Jamie Lynn Spears (sister of Britney) announced her pregnancy last month.

Last year, Jamie Lynn attended Parklane High School in McComb, Mississippi. She was a cheerleader and heavily involved in other clubs. She began homeschooling when she landed her gig starring in Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101.

She is seen here leaving the Tangipahoa Adult Education Center in Kentwood, Lousisiana, where she is from. She is carrying a GED study guide, which prepares a person to take a test for a General Equivalency Diploma, meaning they get a diploma without having to attend high school.

This leaves us to ponder - is having a baby a good reason to drop out of school? I guess, though, when you are walking in Britney’s shadow, something this simple doesn’t seem so bad.
