Avril’s home has been on the market for a while. The 6,894-square meter property was initially listed for $7 million. There were 3 potential buyers but then they pulled out before the deal was done. Now, the asking price for the mansion has been slashed down to $5.8 million. Avril and her Sum 41 hubby Deryck Whibley are trying to get rid of that house because they’re reportedly paying a hefty mortgage on a Bel Air home they bought last year.

Sources say Miley and Billy Ray were driving around L.A. when they saw a little dog hanging out on the side of the road. The two stopped to check him out and play rescuers. Once they got him out of the road, they called the owners who came quickly to get their pup.

Lily Allen has turned to ‘Harry Potter’ star Rupert Grint to help her through her heartbreak.
The ‘Smile’ singer - who split from Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons following a miscarriage - enjoyed a heart-to-heart with the 19-year-old actor over dinner at a London restaurant last week.
The couple hit it off when they met at the ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’ premiere last year.
A source said: “They swapped numbers then and although they texted each other quite regularly they didn’t meet up. Then when Lily split from Ed, Rupert offered her a shoulder to cry on and she took it. They get on really well and he makes her laugh. Last week they enjoyed a Japanese meal together where they had a long intense talk as well as a few laughs.”
Lily, 22, is said to love how Rupert - who was recently rumoured to be dating ‘Skins’ actress Hannah Murray - makes her feel safe and protected. A source said: “Lily got really upset when people recognised them so Rupert protected her. She likes that. Lily is still dealing with a terrible start to the year and Rupert is really helping her through.”
Amy Wienhouse is expected to appear in a Norwegian courtroom this week. The singer has to show up in court in Bergen on Friday to contest her drug arrest. Wino was arrested in Norway last year on marijuana charges which is the alleged reason why she was initially denied entry to the US.
On the bright side of things, Amy is still doing well. Her CD ‘Back to Black’ has benefited from a huge sales increase following this past week’s Brit Awards. It’s actually expected to sail back to the top spot of the charts! Congratulations Amy! Don’t let anything bring you down.
In an effort to continue to be an outstanding teen role model, Jamie Lynn Spears drops out of high school at age 16 to get her GED. She has passed that test and is looking towards moving on into college….because you know juggling college and a baby is easier than juggling high school and a baby.
She is planning to take the ACT college entrance test. A family friend says, “She’s already got her diploma. She wants to take her ACT. She’s not wasting any time. People don’t know her. When she gets something in her head, she’ll make it happen. Everybody is so supportive of her.”
It’s so Britney and Justin, but you just have to hope that maybe they’re being for real. The Jonas Brothers are proudly proclaiming their plans to maintain their virginity.
The boys say they have made “promises to ourselves and to God that we’ll stay pure till marriage.” All three boys, Kevin, Joe, and Nick, all wear purity rings as a symbol of that vow.
As we all well know, that vow didn’t work for Britney Spears. But we can look to Jessica Simpson, who says she saved herself until her marriage to Nick Lachey. Sadly, they are no more. More recently, American Idol Jordin Sparks, who also wears a purity ring, says, “It’s hard everday, but I made a promise to myself.”

Aaron Carter, the cute little brother of Nick Carter, was arrested in Texas on Thursday for possession of marijuana. He was originally pulled over for speeding in his Cadillac Escalade.
On Friday, Aaron, who is now 20, sat in jail in Junction, Texas, waiting to appear before a judge. No one else was in the vehicle with him.

Sam Lutfi, the self-appointed manager of Britney Spears, has been served with a restraining order. The shady ‘advisor’ was ordered to stay at least 250m away from the troubled singer and barred from communicating with her.
The federal judge in Britney’s conservatorship case placed the order and it will stand until March 17. The judge confirmed Lufti has been served with legal papers, but his rep has challenged the ruling.
Yesterday, Lutfi’s rep denied he was under police investigation, after claims made by Britney’s mother Lynne that he ‘drugged’ and ’stole’ from the singer.
Avril Lavigne and her hubby rocker Deryck Whibley were spotted as they shopped up a storm on Robertson Boulevard earlier this week and it’s being rumored that it could be for a little Avril or a little Deryck. The couple reportedly dropped around $500 at Lisa Kline Kids when they purchased everything from a cheetah diaper bag to baby AC/DC tees and a camo pacifier holder. It looks as if they’re preparing for life to get more complicated. Avril also made her way over to Kitson Kids to pick up a few more odds and ends. Someone at the scene even said that it looks like Avril has a bit of a bump going on.

Lily, snapped in a corset and stockings with a whip, is said to be “gutted”. The star, who recently had a miscarriage, had gone through tough gym sessions to take over from Kate Moss in a new ad campaign. A source said: “She’s really proud of her new figure.”
Lily was ditched in a row between the $120 million firm’s bosses Joe Corré, 40, and Serena Rees, 39, who are divorcing. Serena picked Lily but creative boss Joe vetoed the move. The source said: “Serena loves Lily and thinks she’s young and sassy. But Joe wasn’t keen and canned all the pictures.”
It’s another blow for Lily who recently split from lover Ed Simons and got disappointing ratings for her BBC3 show. Agent Provocateur said the photos may still be used in a magazine editorial, adding: “We haven’t made any decisions.”

16-year old American Idol contestant David Archuleta said that the doubted his talent, but feel free to join me in calling his bluff. The kid has been a pro for years. He actually performed on the Jenny Jones show in his even younger years. Jennifer Hudson can eat her heart out because the kid belted out an impressive version of ‘And I Am Telling You’. And that’s not all, there’s even a chance that he may have had a record deal some time in his young life. But for the record, FOX says that contestants cannot currently have a management or recording contract so past contracts don’t really count.
Justin Timberlake is reportedly planning to propose to girlfriend Jessica Biel.
The ‘SexyBack’ singer, who has been dating Jessica for over a year, was seen shopping for engagement rings at famous New York jewellery store, Tiffany and Co.
An onlooker said: “Justin was really taking his time looking round the rings. He made the staff get a couple out of the cabinets so he could properly look at them. He didn’t buy anything but told the manager he would think about it.”
Jessica recently revealed she and Justin much prefer snuggling up with the board game Scrabble than going out drinking and dancing. She said: “We do a lot of dinner parties and we play board games. I absolutely love Scrabble!”

It looks like she’s going places. Let’s just hope she lasts in this industry unlike many others from the reality hit show. So if you like the girl, you better show some love.
Miley Cyrus is such a big fan of Britney Spears and the rest of the Spears clan that she might as well change her name to Miley Spears. Miley once said that she wanted to reach out to Britney but now that she seems to be doing better, Miley reached out to Brit’s pregnant sister Jamie Lynn. Miley says that she’s been talking to Jennifer Lopez and said that she was really excited about JL’s pregnancy. Usmagazine.com is reporting that, in Miley’s esteemed opinion, “I think she’s done the best she can. … She’s now really excited, so I’m proud of her.”

Johnny is 27 years old and Emma isn’t even legal yet at 17 years of age. And if you must know, Johnny is the same guy that once dated Kirsten Dunst who, may I add, is currently in rehab. Emma needs better people to hang out with and none of them have the name Johnny Borrell.
Billy Ray has issued an apology for failing to buckle up when he and daughter Miley were riding in the back seat of a Range Rover. The scene was shown around the country as a part of the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour 3D Movie.
He says, “We got caught up in the moment of filming, and we made a mistake and forgot to buckle our seatbelts. Seatbelt is extremely important.”
The mistake was noticed by editors of Consumer Reports. They said, “It seems to us that Miley, her father, and Disney had a perfect opportunity to help influence teens and counteract - rather than encourage - this trend. Then again, as Hannah herself sings, ‘Everybody makes mistakes.’”
Grammy Award-winning country singer Carrie Underwood was photographed just as she was to depart from LAX International Airport in Los Angeles, California on Monday wearing a bright pink bandanna and carrying her little puppy. Her look that day was a far cry from her look on Sunday night when she won the Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance as well as Best Country Song. Avril Lavigne showed up at Hyde on Monday with an interesting partying party at her side – Britney Spears’ former assistant and so-called cousin Alli Sims. Alli’s become quite the starf****r lately. She was recently spotted at Paris Hilton’s birthday party on Saturday night and now she’s with Avril. What? Can she not ride the coattails of just one annoying star? It’s not like she has a career ahead of her if she sticks with those folks. Heck, I doubt she’d get a career period. Somebody needs to give Alli a big reality check and tell her to just get over it.
I honestly thought that a baby and the whole spotlight thing would make Casey run for the hills. Instead, he’s sticking around to be a part of it all. And that includes still being romantically linked with Jamie Lynn.

An American Idol themed attraction is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studio in Orlando later this year. Fortunately, there’s no trace of Simon Cowell to tell you that you’re horrible. Instead, Disney’s hired actors/producers will tell you that. The American Idol model will be followed – an audition process, coaching with some music pros and you’ll even get your hair and make up done so you better channel your inner Sanjaya!
I’m guessing that the reason Fox agreed to let Disney have this is because they don’t have their own theme park – that and Disney paid a boatload of money. Otherwise, they’d have capitalized on it years ago.
