Ashlee Simpson continues to pimp herself out by partnering up with teeny bopper mall store Wet Seal. The store will launch a new collection of tops designed by the singer in conjunction with her third studio effort ‘Bittersweet World’ and a major in-store and online nationwide promotion on April 22. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Wet Seal will also be selling her CD in-store. When talking about the partnership, Ashlee says “I was inspired by so many fun, wonderful things as I was recording Bittersweet World and it’s been great to carry through those inspirations into these new shirt designs. I hope my fans love this album and rock out in these shirts!”
I’m not sure if Adam Brody could sing but he will be playing a singer as the 28-year old former O.C. star recently joined the cast of ‘Jennifer’s Body’. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie is about Jennifer, played by Megan Fox, a cheerleader possessed by a demon who starts feeding off the boys in a farming town. Her bookish best friend, played by Amanda Seyfried, must take dramatic measures to protect the town. Adam will play Nikolai, a hot lead singer of an up and coming rock band with a penchant for evil. Connect the dots and we know who Jennifer is going to attack – or maybe it’s the other way around.
Jamie Lynn spent a good deal of time on Thursday registering her baby at Babies R Us. The mom to be made a list of items needed and wanted to raise her baby with its father, Casey Aldridge.
Casey was listed as a co-registrant, although he wasn’t along for the ride. Jamie Lynn picked out everything from car seats to towels to teethers. When it came to colors, everything was sage green, instead of pink or blue.

The Cruel Intentions actor reckons he’s happy ex-wife Reese Witherspoon has hooked up with Donnie Darko star Jake Gyllenhaal.

The Jonas Brothers performed at a sold out Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia on Friday night. 15-year old Nick, 18-year old Joe and 20-year old Kevin will take the ‘Look Me in the Eyes’ tour to New Hampshire, Connecticut and Maine next. The band of brothers played a series of shows opening for Miley Cyrus on the ‘Best of Both Worlds’ tour and now they’re off headlining their own shows. Just give it a little bit more time and the brothers are sure to overtake Miley’s teen sensation status. Maybe next time around, Miley will be their opening act.
It’s all good that Britney Spears has finally gone back to work but what’s even better is that she had such a blast that she’s wanting to do more of it. People reports that after Britney’s second day of taping for the sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’, her parents kept thanking everyone on set saying that it was just what their daughter needed. What’s more, a source said that the recovering starlet had a lot of fun acting on the show that she even mentioned wanting to extend her character so she could guest star some more. Good for her!

People reports that “Later, the actress stopped by a memorial concert for filmmaker Brandon Schantz at the Roxy, where Locke’s band performed. Barton headed straight backstage – then took her spot in a booth to get into the music, clapping with her arms above her head at the end of each song and bopping her head to the music. After the show, Barton retreated backstage again before coming out with her beau, holding him around the waist and kissing him on the lips.”
David Archuleta screwed up the lyrics to his chosen Beatles song during American Idol’s performance night on Tuesday and we may have found out the reason why. The Idol fave appears to have a stage dad much like Joe Simpson. According to ET, David was off his game on Tuesday because his dad Jeff apparently pitched a huge fit at a Monday recording session. Sources claim that Jeff yelled at David during the session because he wasn’t happy with his son’s singing – and it brought David to tears. Meanie! Don’t mess with David. The pair spent the night snogging and holding hands in trendy London club Carbon, with him getting a cheeky grope of her bum and thigh whenever the chance arose.
Emma, who turns 18 next month, was shy at first but became more amorous as the cocktails flowed before she discovered a slightly more private area upstairs. But when her mystery man came up for breath and was asked by a female fan what she’d seen him in, he replied: “Nothing. I’m a nobody. I work in admin.”
The couple left Carbon separately at around midnight, but soon reunited and spent the night together in a hotel.

But anyway, the brothers recently shot the commercial for nutritious breakfast kit company ‘Breakfast Breaks’ and they made sure that it was a family affair. Apart from 20-year old Kevin, 18-year old Joe and 15-year old Nick, mom Denise, dad Kevin Sr. and little brother Frankie shot the commercial together in Cincinnati, Ohio. It looks like they had loads of fun doing it too. Fans can join in on that fun too as there’s a contest for a fan to appear in the next ‘Breakfast Breaks’ commercial with them.
