IT looks like Ryan Phillippe is trying to cover up a case of the green-eyed monster - or could he just be the nicest guy in the world?

The Cruel Intentions actor reckons he’s happy ex-wife Reese Witherspoon has hooked up with Donnie Darko star Jake Gyllenhaal.

Ryan was said to have been annoyed by how much time Jake spent with his kids Ava and Deacon, Ryan’s children from his marriage to the Walk the Line beauty, and also at how Reese had started a high profile relationship so soon after their split in 2006.

But chatting on The Howard Stern show, Ryan called Jake “a good dude”.

The kind-hearted hottie added: “I love her and I want her to be happy, and it seems like she is.”

Awe.

She went on a goodwill tour to Johannesburg, South Africa, but it soon became a VIP party. After her required tour of duty, Paris Hilton organized a party for herself and boyfriend Benji Madden.

Benji allowed Paris to be the one in the spotlight, slipping by the crowds almost unnoticed. He had performed earlier at the My Coke Fest 2008 with his band Good Charlotte.

The couple hung out for a while and left around 2:30 a.m. The party died down shortly after that. When the party girl leaves, why keep going?
