The Jonas Brothers give a thumbs up and pose for photographers outside their hotel in Dublin, Ireland on Friday. The modern-day Hanson had a concert at RDS Simmondscourt in Ireland the night prior and then left for a show in Denmark on Saturday. If you’re a fan of Guitar Hero, then the Jonas Brothers will like you as Kevin exclaimed “Guitar Hero is a necessity for us! I totally understand John Mayer’s perspective but for me I think it’s a great way to introduce the idea of an instrument to a generation of a young age. Maybe you would go on from there and transition into actually learning how to play and things like that. I’m the Guitar Hero guru of the Jonas Brothers!”
Pete Wentz is “excited” about becoming a dad.
The Fall Out Boy rocker’s new wife, singer Ashlee Simpson, is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child and Pete says he is looking forward to them becoming parents.
He said: “I’m genuinely a nervous person in general. The first time I ever went to the doctor’s office and heard the baby’s heartbeat, I felt totally content and at peace with everything.”
Last month, the couple revealed Ashlee’s pregnancy following weeks of speculation.
Despite previously denying the rumours, the couple wrote on Pete’s website friendsorenemies.com: “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”
Pete – who turned 29 on Thursday – and 23-year-old Ashlee married in a secret ceremony on May 17 at her parents’ home.
Sanjaya is in the career slump and it has made him go low by trying to gouge poor, unsuspecting country fair folk. Organizers of the Richmond County Fair recently asked the hair-brained American Idol reject to sing and the wannabe singer had the guts to demand $8,000 for his presence. At the same fair last year, Kimberly Caldwell and Paris Bennett took in less than $5,000 – and that’s for both of them! Eight grand for the reject who made the pony hawk famous and a fashion faux pas at the same time is totally unfair. I won’t even pay a buck to see and hear that guy perform.
The ‘Hannah Montana’ movie suddenly turned into an action flick when a freak Ferris wheel accident on the set left a couple of extras in bad shape. According to several sources on the set, high winds blew a giant piece of lighting equipment into a Ferris wheel full of people on the movie set. Miley Cyrus, the film’s star, had just wrapped a scene on the stage next to the ride when the accident occurred. The collision caused a few cables on the wheel to go haywire, striking several extras that were on. Medics on the scene took the injured to a local hospital where they received treatment for minor injuries.
John Mayer was stopped by police yesterday.
Jennifer Aniston’s new boyfriend was given a ticket for a registration violation because he didn’t have front or rear number plates on his green Land Rover car.
The West Hollywood Sheriff Station confirmed the ‘Gravity’ singer had been stopped by officers at 12.15pm in West Hollywood. They revealed he had been given a citation before he drove off.
Speaking to onlookers following the incident, John said: “We’ll take care of this, it’s an unfortunate situation – we’ll make amends.”
It looks like Justin Timberlake is ready to rock Jessica Biel’s world by putting a rock on her finger. The Chicago Sun-Times quotes “a usually impeccable Hollywood tipster” who says that the singer has been doing some “serious, major Harry Winston-type” searching for an engagement ring for the actress. He has also been said to be asking Jessica’s friends and associates to help him make the right choice. The reps for each part of the couple have continually denied any engagement rumors. Who would talk? It’s not like they’re the most public couple anyway. Just know that a lot of hearts are breaking at the thought.
Amy Winehouse has got a lot of explaining to do to her husband if he gets wind of this. The singer was seen leaving her London home on Friday with what looked like a hickey on her neck. With her husband still in jail, we’re sure it wasn’t from him. That’s not the only mess she got herself into though. Wino performed at the ‘Rock in Rio’ event in Portugal on Friday night and she was a total mess. She even said so herself. It’s a good thing they canceled the US summer tour she had planned. It’s enough that she makes a mess of herself in the UK.
