
Jesse McCartney is the new face for Bongo brand’s fall 2008 ad campaign. The singer is the first solo male spokesperson to appear in the brand’s ads. When asked to comment about his participation on the campaign, Jesse said “There’s nothing better than a girl in a t-shirt and jeans so the Bongo shoot was a dream come true for me!” The brand will also be promoting Jesse when he goes on tour this August in a co-headlining gig with American Idol champion Jordin Sparks. Past Bongo spokeswomen have included the likes of Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Kristin Cavallari, Rachel Bilson and Vanessa Minnillo.

One of Miley Cyrus’ replacements celebrated her 16th birthday on Tuesday. But even though it was her special day, Selena Gomez still went to work in Hollywood on the set of her Disney show ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’. On Saturday, the then 15-year old star filmed a music video for her song ‘Tell Me Something I Don’t Know’ which is going to be part of the soundtrack for her new movie ‘Another Cinderella Story’. There were about 50 teenagers that worked as extras in one of the dancing scenes. After the shoot, Selena signed autographs and posed for photos for every fan that asked.
