Country superstar Taylor Swift was interviewed on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show on Tuesday morning. The 18-year old country singing sweetheart tells Ryan about what she did on election day, how she loves talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, admits that she was dating Joe Jonas and how the breakup affected her. She said “I’ve written about [the breakup] and I write about my life…that’s just how I deal with things. It’s tough and it’s been tough.” Taylor will also be appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on November 11th. It’s the same day that her new album ‘Fearless’ hits stores.

There was no diva attitude that came along when former American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino provided what several accounts say was the “emotional crescendo” for Jennifer Hudson family’s memorial service last Monday. The Chicago Tribune reports that Oprah, Fantasia, Missy Elliot, Queen Latifah and Clive Davis were among the celebrities who came to the private memorial service in Chicago. Fantasia, who competed with Jennifer in season three of Idol, sang ‘Your Grace and Mercy’. A family friend told the paper about Fantasia’s performance saying “I think it healed Jennifer’s soul just then.” Again, my condolences go out to Jennifer and the rest of her family.
