Taylor Swift is wearing plenty of hats these days including singing and fashion designing she might not have enough time left for herself. The 19-year old Taylor is paring up with l.e.i. to come up with Wal-Mart displayed clothes worth $14. Taylor however refused to be called a designer but wants to be known as the inspiration behind the clothes. It’s not her designer line, she said, but the clothes will definitely be her style.
Taylor said designers spend lots of time and effort studying their craft and she wants to give them their rightful place in the same way that she has her rightful place as a musician. The teener said she loves sundresses so expect a lot of these bohemian styles in her new line. Taylor started her career at a young age of 16 when she first released her album. However, she sang “The Star Spangled Banner” during a Philadelphia 76ers game when she was just 11 years old.
British singer Lily Allen has chosen to undergo motivational therapy so that she can become a more positive person. Though her public image suggests that she is self-assured person, the “Smile” hitmaker has admitted that she at times struggles with self-confidence and hence will be seeing a motivational expert.
Allen reveals, “I’ve got a session next week with a guy that’s going to give me positive mental attitude… We’re doing an hour’s session.”
Well really it is not about her self-confidence but rather that she now has accepted that she is a crap piece of music and singing junk and there is no place for her music amongst public and now that she has come to terms with this reality she is feeling like throwing again and again.
Motivational therapy will just be a kind of temporary relief that she will be choosing and the real upliftment will only happen when she will set out to seek real divine therapy the same way Madonna and the others have done previously. Hehe.
Jonas Brothers are set to release the Soundtrack to their new movie, “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” on February 24th, three days before the film is slated to hit 3D theaters across the nation. The soundtrack includes old favorites like “Hold On” and “S.O.S” as well as live performances with Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato, a Shania Twain cover, and one new, never-before-heard studio recording called “Love Is On Its Way.” The highly anticipated film goes behind-the-scenes with Kevin, Joe and Nick on last year’s Burning Up Tour, following their every move along the way. Despite strong resentment from the opposition parties in Malaysia the central government has gone ahead and given a concert to be staged by singer Rihanna the go ahead. The concert slated to be held on February 13th shall happen as per schedule.
This was confirmed by the Malaysian minister for art, culture and heritage Mr. Datuk Seri Mohd. that the concert will be held at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
That really some news for the singer cos’ if I am correct then this show was supposed to be held late last year when she was on a world tour and she had successful shows in Australia and other south east Asian countries too were very receptive to her music but Malaysia opposed her holding a concert.
That because she refused to wear traditional clothes and the government thought it would be a bad influence on the young generation. And now in a few months her dresses would suddenly not be a bad influence. Completely double standards for the connivance of the government and event organizers.
Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony keep up with the appearances at the ‘Artists and Athletes Alliance Inaugural Honors Service Nation’ event at Café Milano in Washington DC last Monday. Rumors continue to go around that the couple is already on the outs despite the fact that the pair keeps showing up at numerous events in the past weeks looking as happy as ever. JLo has even been wearing her engagement and wedding rings. But everyone knows that it can just be a publicity stunt. For their first night in the White House, the first daughters were treated to a scavenger hunt organized by White House staff in order to teach Barack Obama’s young girls the history of the building, just like they did for Chelsea Clinton back in the day. I knew they should have sacked Ross….he babbles a lot of empty talk (wind)….no intelligent conversation, so it is always embarrassing and awkward for the guests. He loves to humiliate people who come on his show…the U.K. have better presenters than this I can assure you all.
‘Twilight’ superstar Robert Pattinson has been keeping a low profile recently. However, it was only a matter of time until someone came upon him. Chopping off his locks and going home to London wasn’t enough for us to forget him. The actor and sometimes singer was recently spotted at a SoHo pub in London for open mic night. Sources say that Rob was there with some friends and performed two songs which apparently brought the room to silence with how good he was live. Ok, now I’m starting to miss him. Why can’t he do that over in the US where we can all see him more? Oh, maybe that’s the point.
Jennifer Hudson is set to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony. Apart from that, the singer and actress has been nominated an impressive four times. I hope she sings ‘Spotlight’. We need to see her jamming. The February 8th awards show won’t be her first TV performance since her seclusion after the tragic murders of her mother, brother and nephew last October. Jennifer will make her first public performance at the Super Bowl on February 1st where she is scheduled to sing the national anthem. Welcome back Jennifer! I wish you the best on your upcoming performances. Here’s to hoping she’s ready.

Barack Obama has now officially become the 44th President of the Untied States of America but before the official Inauguration took place Hollywood teen star Miley Cyrus took the stage at the Kids’ Inaugural: We Are The Future celebration concert in the nation’s capitol.
Miley was at her best and performed two of the song from her debut album “See You Again” and “Fly on the Wall.” But just for her fans and the people who had gather to take part in the celebrations the star also performed another song from her upcoming film Hannah Montana: The Movie titled “The Climb”.
The teen star put on a stunning performance that had the entire crowd dancing to all the numbers that Miley sang.
That’s really what all of Hollywood should be doing right now, yes there is the financial gloom and wide spread job cuts but still life will not and should not stop and to cheer up people stars should unite and create an atmosphere of joy and happiness. Good that Miley has done a good job here.

Justin Timberlake and girlfriend Jessica Biel are very fond of dogs. They’re often seen walking their dogs all around the place. Recently, the couple posted a sign for a rescue dog that needs adopting. The sign reads “Millie is a beautiful eight year old chocolate lab mix looking for a new home… She loves to chase tennis balls… She has been recently trained by a top Los Angeles dog trainer from Zen For Canines and is extremely agile and obedient.” I wonder how they came about Millie? And why don’t they just adopt her? Oh yeah, maybe they just have too many on their hands already.
