Teen actress Emma Roberts who also happens to be the niece of actress Julia Roberts has repeatedly failed to get her hands on a steering wheel of a car ever since she 1st gave her driver’s test cos’ she has not attended any of the follow-up exams.
She says, “I don’t (have my license). I failed my driving test and then my permit expired. And then I failed my permit test when I retook it. I didn’t know you had to stop before going right on red, so I just swung around the corner… then I made some bad joke about not needing the defroster in California. I went back to the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) after five minutes.”
Keep trying! Driving although it appears to be easy is not…It requires a lot of skill from hand eye coordination and the ability to manipulate a number of actions at the same time.
It requires coordination, concentration and PRACTICE… the more you practice the more you will become comfortable with driving… And do not give it.. the ability to drive provides oneself with great freedom and independence… Good luck!
I never knew that there was something lower than Z list but Jessica Simpson has managed to do just that. The wannabe country singer is billed for the South Florida Chili Cook Off but I’m not entirely sure whether she’s going to be performing or eating. You have to hand it to her though for still managing to find work. Papa Joe must be so ashamed of himself. These types of gigs are usually reserved for the fallen idols. Jessica should just quit while she still has a little bit of dignity. If she ever had any in the first place.
Kelly Clarkson has crossed the pond so she can do some promo work for her new album ‘All I Ever Wanted’. The 26-year old first ever American Idol took to her new blog to talk about a few things including what she’s up to when it comes to work and that she happens to be a fan of the ‘Twilight’ series. Karate and funny man Jackie Chan has taken the cudgels and signed on for the role of Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid remake which will star Jaden Smith (yes, that’s the son of Will Smith who was also Keanu Reeve’s pal in The Day The Earth Stood Still). The Karate Kid is a good break for Smith who may have been chosen because of his Karate background. While Chan’s karate skills are in no doubt in tune, there are however doubts if he can fill in the shoes of Pat Morita who played Mr. Miyagi’s role to a T.
While it has the same title, this is however not just a remake of Karate Kid because they will definitely change the story line to adjust to the new actors who will play the old characters. Take the case of Jaden who at 10 years old is way younger than Ralph Macchio when he played the part. However, the plot will still be similar to the earlier movie which features a bullied youth who finds an eccentric karate master. The remake will be directed by Harald Zwart of Agent Cody Banks and will be filmed in Beijing.
High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens is eyeing the role of werewolf Leah Clearwater in the Twilight sequel “New Moon” and has in fact already auditioned for the role. The original cast of the movie particularly Ashley Greene is excited about the possibility of working with Hudgens if ever she gets the role. Most of the original cast of Twilight will appear in the sequel, which is expected to be released on November 20, including Robert Pattinson as vampire Edward Cullen, Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan and Taylor Lautner.
Hudgens became popular and a millionaire when she essayed the role of Gabriella opposite Zac Efron’s “Troy Bolton” in the High School Musical movie series. She became infamous when indiscreet photos of her in compromising poses were posted in the Internet creating a panic among Disney people. Hudgens may not be getting a lead role in “New Moon” but just being part of the movie which is expected to follow its predecessor’s success is already enough to boost her career after HSM.

Hana Pestle is a self-proclaimed Twilight fanatic. The nineteen year old singer/songwriter from Billings, Montana believes she has the perfect song for the next movie and has started a movement to get “Need” in the forthcoming New Moon. The hauntingly beautiful track was one of her first compositions written at only fifteen years old in 2004. It was produced /co-written for her album by Ben Moody (co-founder of Evanescence) and Michael “Fish” Herring with string arrangements by David Campbell and piano performance by David Hodges (Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry). As confirmed by his representative Samantha Mast, John Travolta will not make an appearance in this year’s Golden Globe. Travolta, his wife Kelly Preston and the whole family are still in mourning after the untimely and tragic death of his 16-year old son Jett while they were vacationing in the Bahamas last January 2. A memorial service has been conducted for Jett at Ocala, Florida last Thursday. Among those who were there are Kirstie Alley, Lisa Marie Presley, Forest Whitaker, James Gandoldfini, Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks. Travolta’s appearance in the Awards ceremony was expected considering that his movie “Bolt” was nominated for Best Animated Feature. His duet with Miley Cyrus “I Thought I Lost You” was also nominated for Best Original Song.
The family has confirmed that Jett has been suffering from seizures and this was identified as the cause of his death. An autopsy was conducted to rule out foul play in his death. The Travolta and their friends said Jett was continuously supervised by two nannies who slept near his room. The boy was in the bathroom when he was found by Travolta.

Looking who is talking, Hollywood’s biggest flop show Lindsay Lohan says she works as hard as Scarlett Johansson. She had a promising start to her career but she’s thrown it away in the past couple of years.
She say: “This is what I asked for, and in this day and age that’s what actually goes on. But what hurts me the most is that I work just as hard as any other actress around my age, like Scarlett Johansson, but I just don’t get the opportunities that they get because people are so distracted by the mess that I created in my life. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to last forever.”
Really she is the only one responsible for the mess she is in. Lindsay has virtually wrecked her career; in much the same way as Britney did, by acting like a lunatic for a significant length of time. An inside source had this to say on the matter: “Angelina gets a kick from saving kids and giving them this amazing life they would have never had otherwise. Yes they might be adding to their family fast but they want all their kids to be roughly the same age so they do the nanny stage and get it over and done with. Another kid in the house will make no difference to the noise and chaos they already have.” Right, it’s not like these children actually need attention from their parents, they’ll just grow up all by themselves while Brad and Angelina are out filming “Mr. and Mrs. Jones XIII”.
It’s nice to see that some exes can remain friendly after parting ways. Just ask Pink and her ex hubby Carey Hart as they actually celebrated New Years together – sort of. The two didn’t actually party together but Pink did perform at Carey’s club in Las Vegas. One insider says that Carey “escorted her to the stage and toasted her at midnight. Then he wished everyone a happy new year. It was very informal.” Before her performance, Pink was also spotted hanging out with Carey and a few other friends at the VIP area. Another source added “They didn’t really talk much, but at midnight Carey grabbed her and took her up to the stage and introduced her. He sort of led her to the stage.”
Emma Watson has said that whenever she is out with her friends, be it at a restaurant or watching movies it is her friends who pay the expenses. Emma Watson, at the age of 18 years old is amongst Britain’s richest teenagers and is currently worth £2.8 million. Most of the money is thanks to her role as Hermione Granger in the hit Harry Potter film franchise

Gwen Stefani and rocker hubby Gavin Rossdale, along with their 2 sons, Kingston and Zuma, looked like the epitome of a happy family over the holidays. Gavin recently gave an interesting interview about his brood, mostly Kingston. He talked about Kingston’s name saying “The stuff you read on Wikipedia especially is such rubbish. They have some stranger as my mother and the family names are all wrong. I’d like to complain to Mr. Wikipedia. How do you do that? Kingston is named for Kingston, Jamaica, not Kingston Ferry. So it’s really not that traditional. At least I don’t think there are a lot of kids named for Kingston, Jamaica.” He also talked about what music Kingston listens to saying “He likes anything with a good beat. He’s big into drums. He likes my record. He likes Gwen’s record. He plays some Pharrell and Snoop. Anything that’s good for head-bobbing. He’s a good head-bobber.”
