The American Idol contestant apparently soared through the idol meter this week due to his rendition of “The Tracks of my Tears” by Smokey Robinson. But then again that was the judges’ assessment too so it’s no big surprise. It looks like Adam Lambert is holding the victory torch for this week. It would be very ironical for him to trip and take a nose dive next week, but then again, that might just be what the judges are keeping up their saves for. Still there might be a slight bond forming in daddy-Cowell’s eyes for Adam Lambert… after all, the judge did call him the best performance of the night.

The singer asked the staff at an Arizona to whip up a gourmet meal for her dog, Daisy. A source said this following about Jessica Simpson: “Jessica Simpson had the kitchen staff cook a meal for her dog but at least she looked fab.” I ask myself: who are these people seriously? Jessica Simpson looked “fab”? What does that have to do with using up labor force inappropriately? It sounds just like saying “well, the emperor executed a few hundred of his servants for not wearing pajamas, but at least he looked like he was having a good day”. And what’s the deal with Jessica Simpson’s dog? Is Daisy too good for just plain old dog food?

Katy Perry knows when she has to suck it up. While the singer was posing for a magazine spread, the heads on set decided to have a chimpanzee in for the photo shoot. Unfortunately, the chimp pissed on Katy! The ‘I Kissed a Girl’ singer took to her blog to write about the whole thing. She said “one the COOLEST magz has been so sweet to let me be their cover girl… their last cover girl since the mag goes online after this issue) and i am SO flattered. Jeremy Scott is one of my all time favorites and he shot the pictures while i got to prance around in his creations. I had a chimp on set with me that day… fun fact, she peed all over me, i had to take silkwood shower in the middle of shooting.”

Everyone has their two cents to throw in regarding the alleged beating of Rihanna by Chris Brown. Mixed martial artist Din Thomas is the most recent one to speak out. Din knocked his opponent last weekend and offered an encore with Chris. Din made quick work of Gabe Lemley and then grabbed the mic after the fight and told the crowd that he’d loved to take on Rihanna’s alleged abuser. Din said “It’s not cool to put your hands on a woman. So Rihanna, if you want someone to kick his ass, holler at me.” Get in line buddy. There’s a lot of people who want to get their hands on Chris.

Zac Efron star of the High School Musical series has pulled out of the remake movie of ‘Footloose’ a role formerly played by Kevin Bacon. The bosses at Paramount Pictures have made an official announcement regarding the position of the actor in the project.

Paramount Pictures have said, “Footloose is a project we’ve longed to see rebooted for a new generation. While Zac is no longer attached, we remain excited.” You know what guys I have the feeling that this is one of the projects that the current heartthrob will repent not doing.

We have seen, heard and even listened to stars who say ‘oh, you know I was offered that role but the bitch used influence to grab that role from me’ but Zac Efron shall in the coming time say that due to unavoidable circumstances he quit the movie.

Also the fact that this guy has age on his side so one missed opportunity will never be missed but I think his advisors and representatives need to be changed or else he will be repenting a lot more than he is currently doing.

Hope he makes the right choices and makes decision in professional manner.

16 Frames’ new album, Where It Ends! The Los Angeles based band teamed up with producer Matt Serletic (Matchbox 20, Santana) for their major label debut. Tracks from Where It Ends have been featured on MTV’s The Hills and recently appeared in the promos for ABC’s Private Practice.

New song by Kate Voegele, “Manhattan From The Sky” The track was featured on last night’s episode of One Tree Hill and is one of the several shiny new gems featured on her upcoming release, A Fine Mess, due out in May. Kate Voegele, who plays the spunky Mia on the popular teen drama, calls the placement of “Manhattan From The Sky” “the most amazing set-up ever.” “The coolest thing is how they worked the song into the show so that it enhanced the scene, and how the scene enhanced the song.”
She says the idea for the piano-driven pop number came to her while sitting in a plane, 30,000 feet above New York City. “I was just thinking about how Manhattan looks like a little piece of Lego,” Voegele recalls, “but once you’re inside, it’s totally crazy and messy and there’s a wonderful chaos going on all around the city.”

Check out the new pink and black artwork for Avril Lavigne’s new fragrance ‘Black Star’. The Canadian wannabe rock star recently spoke of the scent saying “I wanted to make sure it was really me — me in a bottle. The inspiration [for the mirrored squares on the carton] came from my love of studded belts and studded bracelets.” The fragrance features notes of pink hibiscus, black plum and dark chocolate. Avril said “I find it young and fresh and edgy.” If you want to smell like Avril, a bottle of her new ‘Black Star’ fragrance can be yours for a mere $22.

A photo has surfaced wherein it has presumably showing Joe Jonas mocking at people of Asian origins. The photo scandal comes barely a month after another teen singer Miley Cyrus was pressurized to apologize for a similar kind of prank.

Joe who is a member of the Jonas Brothers singing group appears to pull his eyes with his pinky fingers a pose that is strikingly similar to the one that created a stir by MIley Cyrus. A group of Asian Pacific Islanders have already proceeded with taking legal action over the photo controversy. Despite making a public apology she faces claims of damages.

I think people have taken all this stuff way beyond normal imagination, getting sued for making faces just because you are a public figure and are expected to behave responsibly. What happened to innocence, it lost for good.

Seeking damages for the offence. Now we have really gone too far. I’m as liberal as you can get, but this offends me. When you get sued for making faces, what can be next?

American Idol comes up with the darnedest things. Why trade cards of your favorite athletes when you can collect and trade all of your favorite Idols? The singing contest is dipping into the trading card business by releasing a line of trading cards through baseball card giants Upper Deck on April 21st. The cards will come in packs of 5 with 138 unique cards featuring Idol contestants and hosts with six special packs including autographed cards of past Idols. Honestly, who would buy these things, especially if the cards would feature the biggest Idol rejects and fallen Idols? This is just a waste of paper.

Pussycat Dolls have just premiered the video for their version of A R Rahman’s Oscar winning “Jai Ho!” “It was such a great honor to be able to re-write my own version of the lyrics,” said PCD’s Nicole Scherzinger who worked with producer Ron Fair on the new interpretation of the track. The Dolls shot the video for “Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny)” at an abandoned train station museum in snowy Vienna with director Thomas Kloss – Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus.

With Amy Winehouse being a little more cleaned up and sober, Lily Allen took on her role of public attacker as the troublesome singer went ballistic on a group of photographers in London recently, unleashing a fury of punches and kicks before security could drag her away. It all started when paparazzi tried to photograph Lily leaving her London home. A photographer shoved her into her car and the singer began cussing everyone out. Lily eventually left but when she arrived at a recording studio some time later and saw more photographers, she allegedly threw a water bottle at one of them and continued on with the attacks on a different photographer until security came to break the fight up. This isn’t her first scuffle with the paparazzi as Lily was arrested for the same reason around 2 years ago.

Robert Pattinson has become an instant celebrity and an instant favorite among the ladies after Twilight. It is understandable how the girls are interested to know everything about him especially his lovelife. Robert Pattinson however told GQ that none of the stories written about him and his love life is true. For starters, there’s this girl who is always being written about as his girlfriend but he said he has never even met Brazilian model Annelyse Schoenberger. He said that despite reports he has also never popped the question to Twilight costar Kristen Stewart.

Robert Pattinson said of course, he has proposed multiple times to Kristen Stewart but that may have been on the set. He has been photographed with Camilla Belle but Robert Pattinson said he did not steal her away from the Jonas Brothers. While he said Camilla Belle is a saint but insisted they are just buddies. He said that he does not even want to have a girlfriend considering the environment he is in. Kristen Stewart said she and Robert Pattinson are really just friends and there is nothing to talk about even when the get cozy sometimes. The 18-year old Kristen Stewart is actually dating 20-year old actor Michael Angarano.

The singer recently declared that she is very comfortable with her weight and believes that all of her fans like her just the way she is. Kelly Clarkson also believes that her appearance helped her win “American Idol” as she said: “I feel very fortunate coming from ‘American Idol.’ I was the biggest girl in the group. I’ve always been thicker and millions of people voted for me. People are born all different shapes and sizes. People like me this way.” Ok, but I feel the need to ask this question: why bring it up? If how much she weighs is of so little importance to Kelly Clarkson, then how come she brings it up? Maybe it’s all a silent cry for help.

The empire of the Jonas Brothers is growing as the days pass. The band of brothers are now going into fashion design as they have a line just for the tweens! Don’t expect a whole collection of their merchandise though as the line, simply called Jonas, strays away from the traditional fan fare and primarily focuses on sportswear. The collection is modeled after the clothing they wore on the Disney Channel’s upcoming Jonas Brothers TV show with an array of “argyle sweater vests with the Horace Mantis Academy logo on the front; woven tops; T-shirts; polo shirts with ruffle accents on the neck and sleeves; plaid belted shorts; leggings; denim skirts and jeans.” The brothers are also keeping the line affordable as the collection will range from $9.99 to $24.99 and will be available at retail giants Wal-Mart, Kmart, Sears and JC Penney this fall.

Chris Brown, accused in a case for hitting and threatening girlfriend Rihanna has withdrawn his name from this month’s Kids’ Choice Awards so that he may not have to face embarrassment due to his actions.

Chris Brown was nominated for two awards, one for favorite song ‘Kiss Kiss’ and the other being Favorite Male Singer, the show is host on the children’s TV network Nickelodeon. In a statement Chris Brown’s reps have said that would speak to his fans at a later date because right now with his criminal case pending he cannot speak at the moment.

Speak to his fans, he would have no fans as of now and if there ever exist a fan of this rotten man then that person needs to take counseling so that help can be provided to that person as in making a difference between hooligans and mentally unfit people. Chris Brown for me is mentally unfit and the same goes for Rihanna.
