Forbes Magazine has made official what the whole world has known all along–the importance of Daniel Radcliffe and Miley Cyrus in the entertainment world. Daniel Radcliffe is popular as the witch whiz in the Harry Potter series while Miley Cyrus is popular for the Hannah Montana television series. Both tweens have made it to the top of the list of Forbes Magazine’s Most Valuable Young Stars. The list, which included stars who were 19 years old or younger when it was generated, included votes from the entertainment industry. The 19-year old Daniel Radcliffe, who topped the list, has diversified and ventured into Broadway with a role in Equus. His fans can look forward to the showing of three more Harry Potter movies. The 16-year old Hannah Montanan on the other hand, came next to Daniel Radcliffe. Miley Cyrus is both an actress and a singer who was last heard as the voice of one of the lead characters in the kid’s movie “Bolt”.
Next in line is 15-year old Dakota Fanning who has confirmed she will be joining the Twilight sequel “New Moon”. Dakota Fanning was last seen in “Push” and “The Secret Life of Bees”. There are also reports she will play the role of a rockstar in the movie Runaways. The No. 4 MVP is 12-year old Abigail Breslin who has an Oscar nomination for the movie “Little Miss Sunshine”. And on the top 5 spot is 19-year old Hayden Panettiere who became popular in the NBC show “Hero”.

The actress, who is apparently also a director now, is being considered to direct the third movie based on Stephenie Meyer’s series. Drew Barrymore said the following in a recent interview: “I’m one of the directors that is being talked about, which is great, because I’m a director now. But, you know, they’ll make their choice.” Right… first of all: who are they? The vampire clans? Does Drew Barrymore even want to be associated with such dangerous company. And secondly: since when does Drew Barrymore direct movies? But what more does it matter? I guess it’s up to the vampires now to decide the future of her directing career…
Check out Steve Rushton’s just released video for “Emergency” from the upcoming Race To Witch Mountain movie. Steve also has two original songs on the Hannah Montana: The Movie Soundtrack due out 3/24, and in addition, appears in the film alongside Miley.
Steve is currently in the studio with John Fields (Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato) working on his debut album on Hollywood Records.

It seems like teenager Miley Cyrus is not your ordinary teenager after all. Well, ordinary teenagers have the usual misunderstanding with her folks over having a good time and having a boyfriend but that’s part of the package. It’s a different thing with Miley Cyrus though because to monitor her actions, her parents allowed her 21-year old boyfriend Justin Gaston to move in with them in their Toluca Lake, California family home. And since then thing shave never been the same in the home front.
Miley Cyrus has been forever quarrelling with her parents and even her dad Billy Ray Cyrus and mom Tish have been in the warfront too. And oh, add her little brother and sister to the equation and you get a really nice, dysfunctional American household. Miley Cyrus is raking in the big bucks so her parents are protecting her by keeping her under their radar even if it means having her boyfriend play house with them too. Her parents thought it would be easier if they have both of them under one roof so they can keep an eye on Miley but former underwear model Justin Gaston is becoming a pain. Apparently, Justin Gaston is starting to get into Billy Ray Cyrus’ hair by walking around the house in his briefs, raiding the family refrigerator and guess what—devouring Billy Ray Cyrus’ favorite Apple pie.
Singer-songwriter Kate Voegele is gearing up for the May release of A Fine Mess, the highly anticipated follow-up to her 2008 debut album, Don’t Look Away (MySpace/Interscope). Voegele recorded the album in Los Angeles with producer Mike Elizondo, Rihanna, Maroon 5, Pink.
The 22-year-old has been racking up frequent flier miles of late, jetting back and forth between L.A. and Wilmington, North Carolina, where she’s also shooting new episodes of the CW Network’s hit TV series “One Tree Hill.” This season sees Voegele reprising her role as singer-songwriter Mia. She made headlines last year by performing several songs on the show, all from Don’t Look Away.
In their year-end issue, Billboard magazine spotlighted the 10 biggest film and television placement/appearances of 2008 and put Voegele’s involvement with “One Tree Hill” at No. 1. Wrote Billboard Sr. Editor Ann Donohue, “There’s getting a song placed in a prime-time show and then there’s getting cast in that show to play your own music and have the show’s creator write storylines for you inspired by your songs. Such was the case for Kate Voegele…”.
The new season of “One Tree Hill” will see Voegele giving audiences sneak previews of songs from the upcoming album, beginning with the March 16th episode, when she will premiere a brand-new track titled “Manhattan From The Sky.”
Voegele, hailed by Entertainment Weekly for being among the best of “the new golden age of female singer-songwriters,” spent the majority of 2008 touring in support of debut album Don’t Look Away, the record that earned her “Artist To Watch In ‘08” accolades from Billboard. Over the course of the year, she shared stages with Natasha Bedingfield, The Veronicas, Ben Lee, Cary Brothers and launched her own headlining tour.
Voegele performed on “Live with Regis and Kelly” and CBS’ “The Early Show,” and also appeared on “TRL” and Fuse-TV’s “The Sauce.” She recently gave a special acoustic performance on the ABC-TV’s “The Bachelor.” She’s also been featured on the cover of USA Today’s “Life” section and appeared in the pages of People, CosmoGirl, TV Guide and Giant, to name but a few.
Check out Kate’s latest video blog to sneak a peek inside the studio while she works on the new album.

The actress from the “O.C.” recently declared that she has no problem with stripping in front of the camera. Mischa Barton explained: “Doing nudity doesn’t bother me. It all comes down to whether I trust the director or not.” Even though it may make perfect sense, you just can’t refrain yourself not to take it out of context: does Mischa Barton fear that some directors may act on their instincts? Are those the types of directors she doesn’t trust? Still, I’m sure that Mischa Barton surrounds herself only with professionals and no issue like that need even be considered. Now we just have to decide wheter or not to consider that last one as being sarcastic.

Jesse McCartney recently premiered the music video to the remix of his ‘How Do You Sleep’ song featuring rapper Ludacris. Did you manage to catch the cameo of one Katy Perry? If not, the ‘I Kissed a Girl’ singer made a very quick flash on the screen as her image was featured in a photograph attached to the car sun visor. Jesse wanted Katy to make an actual cameo in his video but she couldn’t do it because of her touring schedule. Katy had also asked Jesse to be in her ‘Hot N Cold’ video but he was also not available. Who even knew that they were friends?

Becoming a parent can make you do a lot of crazy things. Just ask Pete Wentz. In a new interview, the Fall Out Boy bassist revealed that he has a kids album in the works. He said “To get our son to sleep we play him Bob Dylan’s You Belong To Me. Or a little Sinatra. My boy’s probably the last person in the world to appreciate my singing voice. Although I wrote a lullaby especially for him – you’ll find it on our new album if you look hard enough – it’s a hidden track…We had so much fun doing it I’m going to put out an album of songs for children.”

From Push to Vampire. That can be the summary of Dakota Fanning’s career so far but that’s not bad at all considering that New Moon, her latest movie, is a sequel of one of the surprise hits in town—Twilight. Everybody wants to be a vampire these days, even sweet girl Vanessa Hudgens of the High School Musical triple success, especially with the box office performance of Twilight. However, not everyone is as lucky as Dakota Fanning.
The 15-years old Dakota Fanning will play the role of Italian Volturi vampire named “Jane”. Talks about the possibility of Dakota Fanning joining the New Moon cast has been going around since last January but it was only now that it was confirmed. And while she is ready for the role, Dakota Fanning said the people behind the film might not even have to put make up on her considering she is pretty white already. There’s good news for Dakota Fanning and Twilight’s Kristen Stewart fans—Dakota Fanning may be joining the cast of “Runaways”, the rock biopic where Kristen Stewart will be playing the role of Joan Jett.

Britney Spears’ “Circus” concert tour is becoming a really big circus as it opened to a good start Tuesday night. This is Britney Spears’ first tour in almost half a decade and it is just right that she commence it at her home state of Louisiana. The pop star prepared well for the concert and this was evident from the challenging opening number where she was placed in a cage and hoisted down on stage to the whole concert itself.
And as a reward for being a good girl, Britney Spears took her two boys, 2-year old Jayden James and 3-year old Preston, to the Disneyland Park in Florida. Britney Spears along with her two boys and assistant Brett Miller were seen enjoying the Magic Kingdom’s Indy Speedway and Tomorrowland attractions. After playtime with her kids Britney Spears was off to work again and hit the stage Thursday in Atlanta, Georgia. The next days will see her touring Miami and Tampa, Florida.
Check out this week’s episode of Clique Girlz TV further introducing new member Sara Diamond. The episode features Paris, Destinee and Sara signing their new contract and officially becoming the Clique Girlz. The girls then browse a giant wardrobe closet and pick out some new clothes.

The actress’ upcoming book, “Miley Cyrus: Miles to go” contains stories of how Miley Cyrus used to get bullied at school: “The girls took it beyond normal bullying. These were big, tough girls. I was scrawny and short. They were fully capable of doing me bodily harm.” Miley Cyrus also tells the story of a fight she was once challenged to by her bullying school mates: “They started cussing me and telling me to get up. I sat there, frozen. I didn’t know what to do. Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore. I stood up, still a foot shorter then they were, and said, ‘What’s your problem? What did I ever do to you?’” Truth be told, I think it had a lot to do with her boobs. The way Miley Cyrus describes her bullies does lead to the hypothesis that they might not have tolerated her presence too well.

Who said that Disney stars all had to be prim and proper? Oh well, we all know that’s been thrown out the window when it comes to Miley Cyrus. But let’s talk about a Disney star who’s still lovable despite going against the grain. ‘Camp Rock’ star Demi Lovato is really getting into her music. The lovely and talented singer and actress was recently spotted in Los Angeles filming her new music video ‘Don’t Forget’. She looks like she really wants a rock and roll persona with the concept of the video. Is it me or does everyone look better in the rain?

The actress from the Harry Potter movie series recently got accepted into Yale University and is determined to experience student life will also keeping her acting career active. This is what Emma Watson said about it: “Jodie Foster did it, Natalie Portman did it. I think it’s entirely possible to juggle university with filming. I actually think going to university will make me a better actress. The experience of living like that, working to deadlines, living with other students, it’s all the things I want. There are actresses who don’t know about things like doing their own laundry and getting a bus.” Commendable indeed, but it’s all a lot easier said than done. But it remains to be seen how Emma Watson will cope with the Yale people and vice versa. Still it is unlikely that this alternative will seem more appealing to her than acting.

The actor who plays Ron Weasley in the “Harry Potter” series admitted to the fact that he noticed a very big change between the filming for those movies and the one for his latest, “Cherrybomb”. This is what Rupert Grint had to say about his new acting job: “I really enjoy it because it is a totally different world. I think we do get a bit spoiled on ‘Harry Potter.’ I really prefer the pace of these sorts of films – on this one you do maybe seven scenes a day – so it moves really quickly. It’s exciting.” Oh but the excitement doesn’t stop there. Rupert Grint should try filming a low budget film which is produced for free with faulty equipment and miserable conditions. That is where the true adventure shall begin!

After the tragedy which led to the murder of close family members of Jennifer Hudson, she is finally back and moving on! Last October might have been the worst month in Jennifer Hudson’s life but she has taken sometime off and is now ready to face the challenge of living without her loved ones. After a short hiatus, she was seen singing the National Anthem during the opening of the Super Bowl. Then she won her first Grammy Award. The series of good things happening to her after the storm seems to be an indication that she should move on.
Jennifer Hudson showed up at Oprah Winfrey’s couch recently and she opened up about a lot of things although nothing specific was said about the murder of her mother, brother and nephew. Jennifer Hudson said she is good and glad to be back after the storm. She said she is ready to work and do what she loves to do. Jennifer Hudson admitted that performance to her was like therapy.
