Kellie Pickler sparkled in a gold mermaid gown at the 2009 Academy of Country Music Awards which was held at the MGM Grand on Sunday in Las Vegas. I can’t say much about her makeup though. In other news, the 22-year old country singer will be returning to the American Idol stage tonight to perform her latest single ‘Best Days of Your Life’. She talked about her return to Idol saying “Going back to American Idol is like going to a family reunion. Well, it’s more fun than going to my family reunions. Seriously, it’s always great to see the gang and feel the excitement from the contestants.”
