The actress recently admitted that breaking up from her last boyfriend made her grow up more than she had ever expected. Mischa Barton said: “I’m still working on it but I’ve grown so much in the past six months. I’ve grown immensely and it’s because I’ve been single. After I broke up with a boyfriend last year, I felt empowered. I’ve forced myself to grow up – I really felt like it was time. And nothing makes you grow like finding out that somebody or something isn’t good for you.” It’s funny that when people say “grow up” in a context like this, they usually mean they force themselves to become colder and more bitter. Maybe Mischa Barton doesn’t realize that yet, but she most likely will.

Teen actor-singer Miley Cyrus is desperately seeking to improve her vocabulary that because her younger sister who is aged 9-years-old uses words that Miley fails to understand. Miley also says that is take two, herself and her elder sister Brandi to pick upon little Noah.

MIley Cyrus says, “We kind of team up on my little sister when me and her (Brandi) are together. My mom gets really mad when we pick on her because my sister is 22 and I’m 16 and she’s nine. Miley further adds, “But she’s so annoying because she’s so smart. The other day she said, ‘Are you being facetious?’ And I had to get out my dictionary.”

This piece of news just reemphasizes that even the young stars in Hollywood are the dumbest in the whole wide world. Actors have been known to be dumb but if a nine year old girl knows how to use such a word then at 16 Miley is committing crime.

You wouldn’t expect a 16 year old to know facetious? Well, if we don’t expect it, they won’t learn it. Facetious was one of my vocabulary words in the 8th grade. How far do we plan to dumb down America? By the way I should get my dictionary out as well.

All celebrities whether in the movieworld, music world or in the sports world bowed down to Barbara Millicent Roberts— aka Barbie— when it comes to having the greatest amount of income in 2008. The 50-year old iconic doll bested even the most popular moviestars, singers, politicians and sportsmen income wise in view of the $3.3 billion sales receipts she has gathered for last year alone.

Next to Barbie is Illinois are politicians led by ex-governor Rod Blagojevich who made $177,400 in 2008 and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin with $125,000. This was followed by golf star Tiger Woods who earned $110 million, “Madea” movies’ Tyler Perry with an income of $125 million and then Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce with an income of $82 million and $80 million respectively. Alex Rodriguez earned $34 million, Will Ferrell $31 million, author John Grisham earned $25 million and Marley & Me star Jennifer Aniston earned $27 million.
