Daniel Radcliffe has landed two gongs for his role in the Broadway play Equus.

The Harry Potter star scooped both Favourite Actor and Breakthrough Performance for his critically acclaimed turn in the show in the 2009 Broadway.com Audience Awards.

Daniel, 19, played Alan Strang in the Peter Shaffer-penned revival, which saw him strip naked on stage.

Billy Elliot won favourite new Broadway musical, and Hair won favourite musical revival in the 10th annual awards list.

And Equus was also named the favourite Broadway play revival.

The awards are chosen by theatergoers.

The cast of ‘Gossip Girl’ seems to be very musically inclined with Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester trying their hand at music but it is none other than Taylor Momsen that can rock it out with the best of them. MTV recently sat down with the punk rocker and she shared some details on her music. Taylor said “I write it all. I’m completely involved. You’re hearing my life, so you’re hearing my diaries. Have fun!” Taylor’s band, the Pretty Reckless, recently got signed to Interscope and have started recording tracks for their debut album. She reveals that her inspiration comes from females of rock’s past like Joan Jett, Debbie Harry and Courtney Love.
