Little Miss Sunshine star Abigail Breslin has revealed she got a $1 raise in her allowance now she is 13 years old.
The teenager, who is currently starring in the new film My Sister’s Keeper, admitted her allowance went up by $1 since she turned 13 in April.
She said: "I get $13 [a week] now, because I’m 13."
Abigail shot to fame when she starred in the 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine and her performance as Olive earned her an Oscar nomination.
The youngster admitted that her chores have got heavier now she is older, she said: "My chores have gotten a little heavier."
She added: "My brother used to always to feed the cat and now I feed the cat, which isn’t a big deal, but it kind of is, because my cat eats tons. It’s like an all-day long cycle."
