With a platinum soundtrack in the US and an audience of 146 million in 160 countries and 30 languages, last year’s musical hit ‘Camp Rock’ has earned itself a sequel! ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’ is set to debut next year of the Disney Channel. Stars Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers will be returning, only to find out that some of the students and instructors have left their camp for the rival Camp Star. The film also features new stars including hip-hop artist Matthew “Mdot” Finley and Chloe Bridges, an accomplished 17-year-old classical pianist, who plays Dana, the daughter of Camp Star’s owner that becomes romantically involved with Camp Rock’s Nate (Nick Jonas). It’s like Romeo and Juliet!

A Gossip Girl themed clothing line has been shelved because bosses at the Target store were nervous about the show’s raunchy reputation.
Designer Anna Sui’s new line with the clothing giant is still going ahead, but the link with the hit teen drama is on hold, according to US reports.
“One of Target’s top executives got nervous about being that closely associated with the show, given the debauchery its characters get into,” an insider told the New York Daily News.
The new line of clothes was set to feature in an episode of the show, which features the likes of Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick.
But Target bosses pulled the plug on the shoot at the last minute, according to the Daily News.
“They can’t believe Target would bail on them, especially after publicly announcing the collaboration,” the insider continued.
“It’s Target’s loss, because the line would have sold better if it had played a part in the show.”
A representative for Target refused to comment.

A custody hearing for temporary guardianship of Jacko’s three children has been rescheduled.
The hearing, due to have taken place on Monday July 13, has been rescheduled for July 20 at the request of both Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe.
“All prior orders remain in full force and effect, with Katherine Jackson as temporary guardian of the children,” according to a Los Angeles Superior Court statement.
Jacko’s three children – Prince Michael I, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II, better known as Blanket, seven – have been living with their grandmother Katherine at the Jackson family compound in Encino, California, home since the death of the Thriller singer on June 25.
Katherine Jackson was awarded temporary guardianship, just days after Jacko’s death after filing the necessary paperwork with the Los Angeles court.
It has been reported that Rowe, Prince and Paris’ biological mother, wants custody of her children, while Blanket’s mother has never been identified.
However, Rowe has not filed a petition for temporary guardianship, says a courthouse spokesperson. Last week, Rowe’s attorney Eric George, said: “The truth is that Debbie has not reached a final decision concerning the pending custody proceedings.”
Katherine was named the guardian of his three children in Jacko’s will, which was revealed last week and a source close to the family revealed: “They will fight.”
