A Gossip Girl themed clothing line has been shelved because bosses at the Target store were nervous about the show’s raunchy reputation.

Designer Anna Sui’s new line with the clothing giant is still going ahead, but the link with the hit teen drama is on hold, according to US reports.

“One of Target’s top executives got nervous about being that closely associated with the show, given the debauchery its characters get into,” an insider told the New York Daily News.

The new line of clothes was set to feature in an episode of the show, which features the likes of Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick.

But Target bosses pulled the plug on the shoot at the last minute, according to the Daily News.

“They can’t believe Target would bail on them, especially after publicly announcing the collaboration,” the insider continued.

“It’s Target’s loss, because the line would have sold better if it had played a part in the show.”

A representative for Target refused to comment.

    Nice post!

Now a days lot of designs have arrived in to men & womens fashion style. But one of the key items every men & woman should have is a pair of jeans that flatters your figure and can be dressed up or down.
