Harry Potter star Emma Watson has confirmed reports that she is to create her own clothing line.
Emma, 19, has revealed the rumours are true that she is to collaborate with ethical label People Tree on a new clothing range that is due to launch at the beginning of next year.
The range will reportedly be aimed at the 16- to 24-year-old market and will take inspiration from festival style and Emma has acted as creative advisor on the line.
Talking about her new role, she said: “I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with.
“I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren’t many options out there.”

According to legal documents filed back in April, a company named Signature Networks won a judgment against Spectra Music for failing to deliver a new album from the washed up singer. Signature was supposed to handle merchandising. But here’s the catch, Spectra has already folded and Signature can’t collect the $574,169.17 that they were awarded for judgment. Now, the company is going after Aaron and his parents since he was a minor at the time that the deal was made.
