Ten thousand people have signed a petition to get Harry Potter star Rupert Grint’s new movie Cherrybomb onto the big screen.
The movie was premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in February this year and it has still not been snapped up. Cherrybomb sees Rupert, 21, swap wizardry at Hogwarts for more mature interests as he stars in steamy scenes with co-star Kimberley Nixon.
Ten thousand people have so far signed the petition to get filmmakers to take action, with 1,338 of those who have petitioned in the UK and 4,849 in the US.
A statement on the Cherrybomb Distribution Campaign says: “Many websites that publish features on Cherrybomb are saturated with comments from movie-goers who are eager to see the film.
“The trailer has captured the attention of both teenagers as well as adults. Critics are noticing that Rupert Grint completely shakes off his trademark Ron Weasley persona from the Harry Potter movies.”
Jesse McCartney hit the red carpet at the 7th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party at Milk Studios last Friday in Los Angeles. No thanks to his make up artist, the 22-year old singer showed up looking a little too tan for the event. His face make up wasn’t applied on evenly and the color doesn’t even match his neck. He needs a little more help in getting some good people in his glam squad. Maybe they dolled him up in the dark. Any celebrity make up artist that has good credit wouldn’t do this kind of stupid mistake. Poor Jesse.
