Paris Jackson appeared with her two brothers, Prince Michael I and Blanket on a shopping trip in Los Angeles with a nanny.

The children appeared relaxed as they sauntered in the sunshine. Blanket had on a happy face that has not been seen in public since his father Michael’s sudden death in June. The appearance contrasted with a more uptight glimpse of them at a recent religious event.

The children are in the permanent guardianship of their grandmother Katherine Jackson, 79, a Jehovah’s Witness.

An onlooker said: “The kids looked really happy. It was great to see them joking around and laughing like normal children. Hopefully it’s a sign they’re starting to come to terms with their father’s tragic death.”

Their aunt, La Toya Jackson, recently told The View that the children were being allowed to decide their own religion just as she and her siblings had done.

Britain’s Got Talent sensation Shaheen Jafargholi says it was an “honour” to pay tribute to Michael Jackson at the MOBO Awards.

The 12-year-old Welsh schoolboy performed the Jackson 5 hit I’ll Be There at the MOBOs after he was introduced by Michael’s sister LaToya.

The awards were recently held at the SECC arena in Glasgow and were the first UK event to pay tribute to the star since his death in June.

Shaheen told British newspaper the South Wales Evening Post: “It was an unbelievable night and experience, and it was an honour to pay tribute to Michael Jackson and be part of a fantastic event.

“I love music and singing, and being part of an awards evening with so many artists that I admire and respect was amazing.”

Introducing Orianthi, the guitar phenomenon who is featured prominently in the upcoming Michael Jackson concert documentary, This Is It. Already a renowned musician, Orianthi has been playing guitar since the age of eleven and was discovered by legend Carlos Santana. After playing with artists like Carrie Underwood, ZZ Top, and Prince, she received a MySpace message from Michael Jackson’s musical director asking her to audition for his comeback tour. Following a test run with the King of Pop himself, she was selected as his lead guitarist for his O2 arena dates in London – a crowning acheivement for the 24 year old from Adelaide, Australia.

Now Orianthi is preparing to release her solo debut album, Believe, on October 27th. In addition to her talent at guitar, Orianthi has a gorgeous voice and even sang at Michael Jackson’s Staples Center memorial service. Even before starting rehearsals for his tour though, she was hard at work writing and recording the album with her band. Believe is full of anthemic rock tracks with a sound reminiscent of Paramore or Evanescence, but entirely Orianthi thanks to her signature shreds and thunderous hooks. Her first single, “According to You” is a catchy tale of an ungrateful boyfriend, featuring a killer guitar solo.

To hear the story in her own words, watch Orianthi in this segment from Australia’s Today show. Visit Orianthi.com for updates on this rising star, and be sure to check her out in This Is It out on October 28th.
