Gossip Girl star Blake Lively said she’s actually “very goofy” and “awkward” and would be better playing her boyfriend Penn Badgley’s role.
Blake, 22, plays the role of Serena van der Woodsen in the hit US show and she said that there are other characters in the show that she would be better suited to playing.
She said to Britain’s Heat magazine: “I would be much better as Dan [played by off-screen boyfriend Penn Badgley] than my own role, because I’m much more like him than I am Serena.
“I’m very goofy; I’m sure you’ve seen my hands flying everywhere – I’m just awkward! Sometimes I will make up a line and tell Penn and he’ll laugh because he’s nothing like Dan.
“He’s actually much more like Serena. So it’s nice to be able to help each other out.”
