Suri Cruise will be sent to a Catholic preschool in what is being billed as a coup for Katie Holmes.

The mother of Tom Cruise’s three-year-old daughter is said to have won a hard-fought battle to keep Suri away from her dad’s Scientology.

Holmes as enrolled Suri at the Catholic Charities’ Yawkey Centre For Early Education And Learning in Boston, Massachusetts. Cruise is making Wichita in the city with co-star Cameron Diaz.

Holmes was spotted shopping with her mother, who flew in for Suri’s first week at the preschool.

A source said: “Katie has been listening to her parents, who are devout Catholics. She is not convinced by Scientology and has told Tom that she wants Suri to be educated as a Catholic – as she was. They had been having huge problems agreeing on her school. To say they were having arguments is putting it mildly – but Tom came around to the idea in the end.”

The singer who reportedly made 25 million dollars last year failed to leave a tip after having lunch with her sister Brandi in New York. A source related the following about the moment when Miley Cyrus paid for the 70 dollar lunch: “She pulled an envelope of money out and handed a $100 note over – but she kept all the change.” Such gross conduct! Jennifer Hudson is going to host a holiday music special shot in her hometown of Chicago called ‘Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas’. The one hour special event on ABC will take viewers along with the American Idol alum as she “relives her childhood Christmases with musical performances shot on location at the small neighborhood church where she brought the congregation to its feet week after week; the music academy where she studied; and other Chicago sites.” There’s no air date yet for the singer’s show.
