This is becoming quite the popular move… either that, or it’s just that time of the social network’s life. Now Lily Allen has given up her twitter account, her last tweet saying: “I am a neo-luddite, goodbye.” Neo-luddism seems to be a belief that all technology is somehow bad for you. Apparently, Lily Allen also gave up MySpace, e-mail, her Macbook and so on. However, a source comes in with the following info: “Sam was fed up. He told Lily: ‘It’s me or Twitter.’ And she chose him.” Is Lily Allen just doing all of this for the show of it? But how will she battle music downloads now that she has no more internet? Or has she finally found a nobler purpose?
