The final book in the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn, could be made into two separate films for its movie adaptation.

Reports claim that the studio is considering splitting the fourth book into two movies and shooting the films back-to-back.

Summit Entertainment is behind the hit film franchise and it will need to get director Chris Weitz, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and the main cast on board if the idea is to go ahead.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, breaking the story up into two separate films will mean the key actors getting pay rises and the lead three stars – Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner – could receive an eight-figure sum.

This latest proposal comes after the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book was split into two movies for its film adaptation.
