Supermodel Gisele Bündchen has given women another reason to be jealous after claiming giving birth was painless.
The 29-year-old beauty – who welcomed son Benjamin on December 8 – said the water birth was so comfortable that she didn’t need any anesthesia.
“It wasn’t painful, not even a little bit,” Bündchen said.
“The whole time, my head was so focused – every contraction, the baby is closer, the baby is closer. So, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh, what pain.’ It was, ‘With every contraction, he is getting closer to me.’”
Bündchen had her home water birth in the Boston apartment she shares with her husband American Football quarterback Tom Brady, 32.
During the delivery Bündchen said she wanted to feel every sensation.
“I wanted to be conscious and present for what was happening,” she said.
“I didn’t want to be anesthetised. I wanted to feel.”
Bündchen added that her recovery was also remarkably quick.
“The second day, I was walking, I was washing dishes, I was making pancakes in the kitchen.”
