Alice In Wonderland star Mia Wasikowska doesn’t think a sequel to the movie should be made despite it doing so well at the box office.

Tim Burton’s new film sees Wasikowska taking on the role of 19-year-old Alice and her return to Wonderland.

The movie has broken the UK box office record for the opening of a 3D flick, beating James Cameron’s Avatar, and has become a worldwide hit.

However the star’s lead actress admitted she isn’t so keen on the idea of a follow-up movie.

She told MTV News: “I think it’s left in a really good place and I don’t think it really needs [a sequel]. I think it’s good how it is.”
