It looks like Disney is really cracking down on Miley Cyrus after her Vanity Fair scandal as the 15-year old has just been pulled from her first scheduled public appearance. The ‘Hannah Montana’ star was supposed to appear at a media party/red carpet event this past Friday in Orlando along with other Disney stars. The Disney Channel Games, a charity competition involving Disney stars, went ahead without one of their biggest stars Miley. Disney had no further comment about Miley’s withdrawal. She may have gotten a lot of attention with her scandal but with Disney pretty much grounding her, it could put a stop to her rise to stardom. Let’s hope so. Hollywood doesn’t need another slut.
Italian property developer Raffaelo Follieri, also Anne Hathaway’s boyfriend for over four years, was arrested Thursday for trying to pass a bad check. The amount of the check has been reported at around $250,000.
He has had a run of bad luck lately. He recently has been sued for failing to properly use business funds and not wanting to pay a PR company.
Anne, however, sings his praises. She says, “He’s brought out so many positive attributes. Before I met him, I wasted so much time. I was just annoying and narcissistic and smelled bad. He’s protective without being possessive, passionate without needing to show his temper.”
IT looks like Ryan Phillippe is trying to cover up a case of the green-eyed monster - or could he just be the nicest guy in the world?
The Cruel Intentions actor reckons he’s happy ex-wife Reese Witherspoon has hooked up with Donnie Darko star Jake Gyllenhaal.
Ryan was said to have been annoyed by how much time Jake spent with his kids Ava and Deacon, Ryan’s children from his marriage to the Walk the Line beauty, and also at how Reese had started a high profile relationship so soon after their split in 2006.
But chatting on The Howard Stern show, Ryan called Jake “a good dude”.
The kind-hearted hottie added: “I love her and I want her to be happy, and it seems like she is.”

Tori has continuously made comments about how proud her late father Aaron Spelling would be of the new show. She also says she may be too old to play a mom, but she would love to be a stepmother or maybe the “funn sex-ed teacher”.

Sporting a headband, actress Mischa Barton showers her new boyfriend, Rooney guitarist Taylor Locke, with hugs and kisses when they were spotted having lunch in West Hollywood on Thursday. People reports that “Later, the actress stopped by a memorial concert for filmmaker Brandon Schantz at the Roxy, where Locke’s band performed. Barton headed straight backstage – then took her spot in a booth to get into the music, clapping with her arms above her head at the end of each song and bopping her head to the music. After the show, Barton retreated backstage again before coming out with her beau, holding him around the waist and kissing him on the lips.”
A new man has cast his spell over Harry Potter’s Emma Watson, and he’s not a rock or movie star.
Emma – who has been linked with Razorlight singer Johnny Borrell, and co-star Daniel Radcliffe – made her latest romance very public at last night’s Empire Awards aftershow party.
The pair spent the night snogging and holding hands in trendy London club Carbon, with him getting a cheeky grope of her bum and thigh whenever the chance arose.
Emma, who turns 18 next month, was shy at first but became more amorous as the cocktails flowed before she discovered a slightly more private area upstairs. But when her mystery man came up for breath and was asked by a female fan what she’d seen him in, he replied: “Nothing. I’m a nobody. I work in admin.”
The couple left Carbon separately at around midnight, but soon reunited and spent the night together in a hotel.
It’s so Britney and Justin, but you just have to hope that maybe they’re being for real. The Jonas Brothers are proudly proclaiming their plans to maintain their virginity.
The boys say they have made “promises to ourselves and to God that we’ll stay pure till marriage.” All three boys, Kevin, Joe, and Nick, all wear purity rings as a symbol of that vow.
As we all well know, that vow didn’t work for Britney Spears. But we can look to Jessica Simpson, who says she saved herself until her marriage to Nick Lachey. Sadly, they are no more. More recently, American Idol Jordin Sparks, who also wears a purity ring, says, “It’s hard everday, but I made a promise to myself.”
