‘Twilight’ star Kristen Stewart was recently seen leaving her hotel with rocker Joan Jett in Burbank, California last week. I’m amazed that the 50-year old singer actually looked better than the teenager playing her in the biopic ‘The Runaways’. Kristen previously spoke about spending time with Joan saying “I’ve been listening to [Jett's] music all the time; I spent New Year’s with her. I am just trying to make myself aware of the time period and what she was going through.” Let’s hope she does the character justice and not be a total stump on screen like she was on ‘Twilight’.
Megan Fox has revealed she’d like to date a British man.
The 23-year-old actress appeared at the London premiere for Transporters: Revenge of the Fallen in a floor-length black dress.
She recently split with her on-off fiance Brian Austin Green, 35, and said she’s frightened of being single again.
She said: “I’m nervous about being single again. It’s very scary. I want my next boyfriend to be honest and funny. I haven’t met any of your British men yet – but I wouldn’t rule them out.”
The Hills star Stephanie Pratt accidentally promoted animal cruelty with a typing error on Twitter.
Pratt went onto her Twitter account to spread the news about a fundraising contest.
She wrote: “Join this contest and help animal cruelty!!” reports OK! magazine.
She then noticed her mistake and almost immediately posted: “Yes to fight animal cruelty! Im sorry that was indeed a typo!!!”
Twenty minutes later, she added: “To help STOP animal cruelty.”

Hollywood actress Shannen Doherty has put her Malibu home on the market.
Doherty, who shot to fame in the original Beverly Hills 90210, is selling her house in the zip code 90265 for $4 million.
The gated contemporary house, built in 1976, has five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms in 3,410 square feet.
Set back from a private street by a long driveway, the house sits on more than an acre of landscaped grounds with ocean views, mature trees, a swimming pool, a spa and a large patio.
Inside, an open floor plan, high pitched ceilings, terracotta pavers and skylights create a casual, beach vibe.
A dramatic fireplace is flanked by picture windows in the sunken living room. The master bedroom suite has a corner fireplace, a wood-beamed ceiling and views of the Pacific.
Doherty, 38, bought the two-storey home in 2004 for $2.56 million after portraying one of the witchy Halliwell sisters for three seasons on the TV series Charmed.
She played teenage twin Brenda Walsh on the first four seasons of the hit drama Beverly Hills 90210 and has returned in the role of successful, grown-up actress Walsh on the updated 90210.
Doherty had listed the home in April of last year at $4.4 million but subsequently withdrew it. She is selling because she plans to spend more time in New York, according to her listing agent.
Slumdog Millionaire actress Rubina Ali might only be nine years old, but she is ready to tell her life story.
Having played the young Latika in director Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning movie, Ali has met Hollywood stars such as Nicole Kidman.
But she has also been involved in a series of controversies in Mumbai since the film rocketed her and its other youngsters into fame.
Now on July 16, her book, Slumdog Dreaming, will simultaneously released in both the US and the UK.
Publishing company Transworld, said that, besides recounting Oscar night, Ali will “tell her story of playing marbles with her friends beside the sewers of Garib Nagar in Mumbai, to dancing along to the Bollywood films she and her family watch on their old television set.
“Rubina brings alive a world of wastelands and rat-infested shanty dwellings, and shows us her home, a wooden shack with a tarpaulin roof, where she grew up with her beloved father and siblings.”

Ugly Betty star Becki Newton thinks it would be “amazing” to have Britain’s Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle appear in an episode of the show.
Becki, 30, who plays the role of Amanda Tanen in the hit US sitcom, spoke about Susan and said: “I think she’d be amazing.”
She added: “I think Ugly Betty taps into pop culture so that these random characters become perfect for the show somehow.
“It might be a bit strange to have Susan Boyle on Ugly Betty, but they[the writers] have got such a great way of incorporating these people in a way that makes it really funny.
“I don’t know what they would be, but I can imagine they have a lot of ideas.”
Actress Lindsay Lohan made a cameo in the third season of the show and Becki dismissed rumours she was a diva on-set.
She said: “She was lovely. When you watch this season she was great at her part. It was a fun storyline and I think people are gonna really enjoy it.”

Amanda Bynes is set to star in a new high-school comedy called Easy A.
The 23-year-old actress found fame on the Nickelodeon sitcom The Amanda Show.
She will play a high school student who is subject to a false rumour she lost her virginity but she turns the rumour around to her advantage and becomes hugely popular.
Amanda is set to star in the comedy directed by Will Gluck and she is then lined up to star in a second project with Screen Gems president Clint Culpepper.
Culpepper said he has been looking to work with Amanda for some time and added: “She’s one of the few who can make that graceful transition from kid to adult star because she has such strong comic chops.”

The Tomb Raider movie series will get a “reboot” in its next film, which may feature a much younger Lara Croft.
Producer Dan Lin said in a video interview: “We’re rebooting Lara Croft as well. Really excited. It’s a great origins story that were going to tell … very character oriented. I would say more realistic than the past Lara Croft movies.”
Lin did not mention casting but noted that since the story is about its heroine’s humble origins, audiences should expect a much younger Croft.
Megan Fox, 23, of Transformers, has been rumoured to be in the running for the part, the report said. Angelina Jolie played Croft in 2001 and 2003.
Anna Faris has revealed she used to have “sex-text-Wednesdays” with her fiance and once sent an inappropriate message to a small child.
The House Bunny star is engaged to actor Chris Pratt and recently made the saucy revelation.
She said: “My fiance and I, when we first met, had sex-text-Wednesdays.
“Every Wednesday, we would text each other the naughtiest things.”
She added: “I was always so terrified that I would accidentally send it to my dad, because my dad is right below my fiance in my phone list – that would be terrifying, but it was really fun.”
But, one day, she accidentally sent a message to the wrong recipient – fortunately, it wasn’t too risque.
She said: “I sent a text to a small child, asking the small child if they wanted to get drunk with me.”
She added: “But I meant it for my friend.”
The small child said: ‘I don’t know what getting drunk means.’ So, bless the small child’s heart.”

Julia Roberts said she never felt the pressure to be thin when she first started out as an actress.
The 41-year-old is currently promoting her new film Fireflies In The Garden and admitted that she feels sad for new actors and actresses.
She said: “Maybe there’s more pressure now for young girls to be slim. That never happened to me – we didn’t deal with that when I was starting out, or at that age.”
The Pretty Woman star added: “I mean, I’ve pretty much always looked the same, no matter how much I tried.
“Besides, I could never be like that because I like food too much.”

A woman who found a copy of the New Moon vampire movie script in a trash bin has been invited to the movie’s premiere.
Beauty salon owner Casey Ray found two scripts, one for the vampire sequel New Moon and one for a different movie, titled Memoirs.
Instead of keeping hold of them, honest Casey handed them back to the movie studio.
In return she was invited to attend the movies’ premieres, her lawyer said.
Casey was waiting for her fiance to finish work when she spotted two scripts in a trash container.
She was outside a hotel where actors were staying during a St Louis shoot for the upcoming George Clooney movie, Up in the Air.
The Clooney movie includes actress Anna Kendrick, who is also in the Twilight vampire movie but it is unclear how the scripts wound up in the bin.
A spokeswoman for Kendrick, Lisa Perkins, said the actress wouldn’t have left scripts lying around.
When Casey found the scripts, she considered leaking them to the press but decided against it, said her lawyer, Al Watkins.
“My client didn’t really want to get paid,” he said but added that she was interested in hanging onto the scripts as collector’s items.
Instead Watkins helped her return them to Los Angeles-based Summit Entertainment LLC, the studio making the movies.
He said the studio invited Ray to premieres for the two film, and will certify the scripts as authentic after the movies are released.
The 15-year-old actress recently had to get drunk for her role in Push, directed by Paul McGuigan, despite the fact she’s never been drunk in real life.
She said: “I don’t think there’s anything that I wouldn’t do for a movie,” Dakota added to Scottish newspaper the Daily Record: “You have to put your whole self into it, and be willing to do anything and everything for the character.”
She added: “What I love about acting is that you can just go there and do those things.”
Dakota also revealed it is her family and friends that keep her grounded as a child star and don’t let her go along the same path as other child stars including Britney Spears and Macaulay Culkin.
She said: “I have such a great support system in my family and friends and the people I work with. And I don’t foresee this happening to me.”
She added: “There’s always the experimenting with make-up and the fun part of it, but there’s no need to grow up any faster than I will, you know?”

Breathe easy, Ugly Betty fans – TV chiefs have confirmed the show is returning for a new series.
It was feared the comedy drama was facing the axe after a ratings dip and its recent removal from the TV schedule.
But ABC has announced it is among the network’s early pick-ups for 2009-10.
It will be the fourth series for the show, starring America Ferreira as the geeky outsider at a New York fashion magazine.
Other prime-time shows getting the green light for new series include the ratings hit Dancing with the Stars, Desperate Housewives and Lost.
Ugly Betty was temporarily dropped from its regular Thursday night slot on ABC and replaced with an all-sitcom comedy block, leading fans to fear the worst.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar is pregnant.
The actress, 31, and her actor husband Freddie Prinze Jr, 33, are expecting their first child in autumn.
“They’re very excited,” a source close to the couple told People.
Gellar met Prinze on the set of the 1997 horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer.
They started dating in 2000 and wed in a lavish ceremony in Mexico on September 1, 2002.
Although she is best known by her birth name, the actress legally changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze to celebrate the couple’s fifth year of marriage in 2007.
She is best known for her role as Buffy Summers in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off, Angel.
The actress ended her role as Buffy in 2003 after a seven-year run but has recently been rumoured to be planning a feature-length film.
