Julia Roberts’s budding actress niece will join her aunt in an upcoming movie titled Valentine’s Day.

Emma Roberts will act alongside Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Shirley MacLaine and heart-throb Bradley Cooper. Topher Grace and Hector Elizondo have also joined the cast.

Roberts, daughter of Julia’s actor brother Eric, will be able to pick up some hands-on tips from her aunt when she plays a teen who wants to lose her virginity to her boyfriend.

Eighteen-year-old Emma last appeared in The Winning Season and Hotel for Dogs.

Valentine’s Day will be directed by Garry Marshall. The ensemble cast will play intertwining singles and couples who break up and make up.

Anne Hathaway was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role at this year’s Academy Awards for her role of girl battling drug addiction in the movie Getting Rachael Married but the Oscar went to 5 times nominee and first time winner actress Kate Winslet.

All the same the actress has vowed to keep a far distance from drugs, but her experience does not stem from her movie but from a wild night at college which convinced her illegal substances would swiftly sabotage her career.

She says, “I do terrible things. I just have very discreet friends. I had an experience at college where I was at a party and people were passing cocaine around, and I looked at it and thought, that’s not a horse I can ride, I’m never going to do that. So I passed the tray along and left the room. Being an actress is hard enough without complicating it with drugs.”

Great way to go Anne Hathaway and we love you for that, maybe you can start a no drugs campaign and roll in Amy Winehouse.

It took her a long four years to ditch the dork, but Anne Hathaway finally seems to have some sense.

Anne dated Italian-American businessman Raffaelo Follieri, even though the rest of the world knew he was scum. His charity, Follieri Foundation, was supposed to fund vaccination programs in third world countries. Now, though, it is under investigation by the NY Attorney General.

Supposedly Anne ended the relationship because effects of his dealings could negatively affect her career. Umm, yeah, that tells me she knew something shady was going on.

Italian property developer Raffaelo Follieri, also Anne Hathaway’s boyfriend for over four years, was arrested Thursday for trying to pass a bad check. The amount of the check has been reported at around $250,000.

He has had a run of bad luck lately. He recently has been sued for failing to properly use business funds and not wanting to pay a PR company.

Anne, however, sings his praises. She says, “He’s brought out so many positive attributes. Before I met him, I wasted so much time. I was just annoying and narcissistic and smelled bad. He’s protective without being possessive, passionate without needing to show his temper.”

Veteran actress Joan Collins who is currently aged over 100 years old wants young actress Anne Hathaway to portrary her in the forth coming biopic, Hathaway seems to be the perfect woman for Collins to play her role, as the veteran actress believes that Anne has the versatility to represent her through the different ages of her own life. She says “to be in my life story, she’s have to go from 17 to 103”. Well madam Collins 17 would be fine because she’s acted many times in roles of that age and 25 would be easy for her too. But when it’s about 103 that’s where she would be challenged and probably look funny as well. She skinny, there’s no doubt about that and practically her bones are visible on her body, so while shooting for the part showing her at 103 years old how are they going to show the make and what kind of disguise are they planning to fit her with. All these possibilities are really tickling my funny bone and that’s purely coz Anne will be looking like she’s staring in a comedy movie like Mrs. Doubtfire – the Robin Williams starrer many years ago.
