Sources are saying that Pete Wentz lost his temper when a photographer shot a picture of him and wife Ashlee Simpson at his 30th birthday party in Las Vegas at The Bank Nightclub this past Saturday. The bratty Fall Out Boy bassist reportedly spat on the photographer! An insider said “Inside the club some photographer took a photo of Pete and Ashlee and I guess they didn’t ask, so Pete flipped out and went after the guy. His publicist and Ashlee held him back, but he spit on the photographer.” The law says that spitting can be considered assault. I wonder if anyone will press charges.
Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson have just decided to show off the Disney themed bedroom of their 4-month old baby boy Bronx Wentz. The 29-year old rocker wrote “I know we’ve been very protective over our son and what people see. But everyone knows we’re huge Disney fans and we wanted to give the peeps over at Disney Consumer Products a shout-out for coming in and helping design his nursery. These are pictures of the walls before we got all his gear in there. The chalk board is real. We also had the artist that draws Pooh do the art…. Eeyore’s tail is velcroed on.” Cool. Everyone can play pin the tail on the donkey.
Becoming a parent can make you do a lot of crazy things. Just ask Pete Wentz. In a new interview, the Fall Out Boy bassist revealed that he has a kids album in the works. He said “To get our son to sleep we play him Bob Dylan’s You Belong To Me. Or a little Sinatra. My boy’s probably the last person in the world to appreciate my singing voice. Although I wrote a lullaby especially for him – you’ll find it on our new album if you look hard enough – it’s a hidden track…We had so much fun doing it I’m going to put out an album of songs for children.”
Ashlee Simpson goes back to being her natural blonde self after leaving a hair salong in West Hollywood recently. USA Weekend recently spoke to her hubby Pete Wentz about being a new father to his son Bronx. He talked about reading to his son saying “Growing up, my parents OD’d me on the library, and I was pretty loaded up when it came to children’s books. I definitely can’t wait to read some of my favorites, like ‘Goodnight Moons,’ ‘The Little Prince”’and the ‘Mr. Men and Little Miss’ books. I know that we already picked up the 50th anniversary copy of ‘Paddington Bear,’ which is a great one.”
The sum in question is two million dollars and the couple are to receive it for the first photographs of their first new-born. Publicist Howard Bragman had this to say: “I see Ashlee Simpson and Pete coming in at the low seven figures mark. Two million seems like a good, solid figure for Ashlee and Pete. It’s a two-celeb couple, so that’s a boost for them.” He also mentioned that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had reportedly received twenty million for the first pictures of their twin girls, saying “Nobody does this better than Angelina.” Of course nobody does it better, she’s got the most experience since she pumps out a unit every now and again. Heaven forbid for this to become some sort of a fad. As for Ashlee Simpson and Pete, I just have to say that it’s amazing for how much you can sell your soul these days.
Pete Wentz was supposed to be on Larry King Live last week but he didn’t show. He went to his official site before the show saying “Due to breaking news and scheduling conflicts, I will not be appearing on Larry King Live tonight, though I am a big fan of the show and look forward to appearing on it in the future. I also look forward to the chance to continue supporting civil rights and speaking out against the passing of Proposition 8 and others like it (I’m looking at you Arizona and Florida) whenever and wherever i can.” People have been saying that his pull out from the show may be because his wife Ashlee Simpson has gone into labor or has already given birth.
According to some sources, Ashlee Simpson went into labor over the week-end and managed to have her and Pete Wentz’s baby. A source close to Pete had this to say: “Pete texted his friends last night that Ashlee is in labor!” Also, the singer wrote on his blog that he would cancel his appearance on Larry King Live due to these circumstances. However, and this is the interesting part, one of Ashlee’s representatives declared on “Access Hollywood” that she has not yet gone into labor. So, what’s the deal? There must be an interesting story at the middle of this confusion… maybe the baby was born, but they found that it didn’t belong to Wentz. I wonder if we could include Lovecraft’s Ctulhu mythos into all of this to make things more interesting.
Star reports that Ashlee Simpson and her hubby Pete Wentz had a Winnie the Pooh-themed baby shower at Bel-Air Hotel’s Palm Room this past Saturday afternoon. Ashlee’s older sister Jessica and mom Tina acted as the hosts for the co-ed party which had 40 guests. On the menu were crab cakes, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, jicama salad with grapefruit and a bumble bee-shaped cake. A party guest revealed “The room was decorated with yellow and orange roses, and guests were given jars of honey with custom-made labels that said ‘Baby Wentz’ and ‘Thank You For Celebrating My Life’ on them. The girls were also given bracelets that had a big bumble bee on them.”
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are reportedly joining the long list of celebrities having twins. I knew Ashlee was growing far too fast if she was only having one kid. According to Pete’s hip hop pal Tyga, “They’re having twins! They’re really happy.” Pete initially disputed that they were having twins back in June when he misspoke in an interview. Either Tyga is repeating Pete’s slip or it’s really true this time around. Ashlee will be following the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie, Rebecca Romijn, Julia Roberts and Marcia Cross as bearers of twins. Congratulations to the couple! No pun intended.
Ashlee Simpson recently took to her blog to debunk some ridiculous rumors and to talk about just how much she loves being pregnant. She says “Today I read on a blog that I went to the doctor and he said I was overweight and I cried and went to Planet Blue (because I was blue) and bought 6 pair of size 0 jeans. Now it is ridiculous to read such nonsense about oneself so I thought I would address this one…
1. My doctor says I am right on target with my weight gain
2. Have not been to Planet Blue in at least two years
3. Love my maternity jeans ..they have stretchy tops it is awesome!
4. My closet full of size 0’s are being worn by [husband Pete Wentz] right now and he looks hot in them
So now that I have cleared that up let me tell you…carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life… I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby…”
Ashlee Simpson recently appeared at a Zellers location in Mississuaga for the re-launch of Request clothing line. She was present at the venue as the spokeswoman for the line.
She was looking very cute in a black Request line shirt with her little baby bump clearly visible. She had done her hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a bright-orange scarf with a pair of white print leggings and heels.
While talking about the baby-in-the-pipeline, the pregnant actress said, “It’s going to be very exciting. I think your mother instincts really kick in the day you find out that you’re pregnant and for me, it’s been a blast preparing for it, getting the nursery ready and all that. So, we’re both really looking forward to it.”
She was looking so beautiful; the fans are praying that she remains pregnant forever.

The Fall Out Boy rocker’s new wife, singer Ashlee Simpson, is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child and Pete says he is looking forward to them becoming parents.
He said: “I’m genuinely a nervous person in general. The first time I ever went to the doctor’s office and heard the baby’s heartbeat, I felt totally content and at peace with everything.”
Last month, the couple revealed Ashlee’s pregnancy following weeks of speculation.
Despite previously denying the rumours, the couple wrote on Pete’s website friendsorenemies.com: “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”
Pete – who turned 29 on Thursday – and 23-year-old Ashlee married in a secret ceremony on May 17 at her parents’ home.
Pete Wentz isn’t your everyday type of guy so it should come as no surprise that his wedding gift to wife Ashlee Simpson is anything but common. Pete hired artist Nathan Sawaya to make a giant bumblebee made of Lego bricks for his wife. The bee measures 26” x 47” by 36” and is made from around 18,000 bricks. Nathan commented on the project saying “Why a bee? Because it is romantic of course. In Hindu myth, Kama, the god of love, has a bow and arrows, and the bow string is made up of bees. In the ancient Greek world the bee symbolized the soul because they migrated in swarms. And the Roman god of love, Cupid, is often pictured with bees or being stung. I made this bee for a boy who wanted to give his girl a special wedding gift.”
Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are too cheap to honeymoon.
Pete, 27, said the pair would rather hang out in their Los Angeles basement, with inflatable palm trees, than spend money on an exotic holiday to celebrate their marriage – which took place last Saturday.
He said: “We’re going to save that $30,000 you know. We’ve got some blow-up palm trees, a little fake-n-bake tanning booth. We’re eating DiGiorno’s pizza, getting in that tanning oven every once in a while, it’s great. It is sunny and 65 degrees in my head.”
Pete admitted the couple have a pre-nuptial agreement, but refused to confirm that Ashlee is pregnant – despite reports she confirmed the happy news to wedding guests.
The Fall Out Boy rocker also refused to comment on rumoured problems between his new wife’s sister Jessica and her American football player boyfriend Tony Romo. He said: “It seemed like they were dancing. It seemed like it was a good time.”
Pete and Ashlee, 23, married in a non-denominational ceremony at her parents’ home in Encino, California. The nuptials were followed by an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed reception complete with a cake decorated with a top hat, stop watch, tea pot and a pot of flowers. Pete’s dog served as their ring bearer.

While most of us hardly care, someone apparently cares enough to pay cold hard cash for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s wedding pictures. Sources are saying that People magazine is shelling out well over one million dollars for pictures of the weekend wedding. That’s probably more than what she’s made from her singing. For their part, the magazine says “We’re thrilled that celebrities continue to choose PEOPLE as the place to share their most intimate photos. We do not comment on specifics of any deals.” I wonder if they got any pictures of Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo together even after they split.

On Friday, close friends and family will join the couple for a rehearsal dinner. The following day, guests ‘will be transported in shuttles to the wedding location”.
Ashlee’s spokesperson has refused to confirm or deny the rumoured nuptials, saying: “This is a private matter. There is nothing to confirm.”
Ashlee and Pete announced their engagement last month, saying: “Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all of your support and well-wishes – it means the world to us.’
It was later reported Ashlee was pregnant with the couple’s first child and are keen to tie the knot before the baby is born. A source said: ‘They’re keeping it quiet because they want to get married first.’

This just has Joe Simpson’s, the dad and manager, name all over it. A source says that “Joe knows that no one cared about [Jessica Simpson] before her reality show, and he’s hoping a show for Ashlee will have the same effect.” A record industry insider adds that “She’s been struggling with record sales. Now that she’s really interesting again, a reality show could do wonders for her career. It’s a part of doing business for this family.” When Ashlee’s first reality show ran in 2004 with her first album dropping a month later, her album debuted at #1.
It’s been around since they posted a kooky video on YouTube but Us Weekly is confirming that recently engaged Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are awaiting the arrival of a baby. This will be the first child for the 23-year old ‘Outta My Head’ singer and 28-year old Fall Out Boy bassist. Maybe this is why they got engaged in the first place. I wonder what Poppa Simpson thinks of his kid having a kid out of wedlock. He was a former pastor mind you.
