The singer recently won the best video of the year on Country Music Television for her “Love Story” video. This is part of the speech Taylor Swift gave after being handed the award: “I want to thank Shania Twain for always making such theatrical videos, and Garth Brooks for always putting the fans first. I take my cues from you.”, “I thank the fans for giving me video of the year when my whole family is here watching.” Right and Taylor Swift mentions this as opposed to not thanking the fans when the folks aren’t watching, right? Well, she probably won’t be so lucky next year if her parents are away and no credit will be given to the fans anymore.

The super hit animated movie “Kung Fu Panda” grabbed ten different honors at the recently held Annie Award ceremony this Friday. Released in 2008 the animated movie piped other leading movies such as “bolt”, “Wall E” including others.
The awards bestowed upon the movie included Best Animated Movie along with Best animated affects & Best Production Design, and the winning run did not end there as actor Dustin Hoffman won the award of the Best Voice Acting for lending his voice for the role of the Red Panda.
There were awards for Jack Black and Angelia Jolie as well both of who were awarded for the parts in the movie (Voice). There were also other outstanding animated movies such ‘Cars’, ‘Waltz with Bashir’ & also ‘$9.99’.
I have seen some of these movies and really I think “Kung Fu Panda” is a standout movie and really one should watch these movies to be in a position to appreciate them and I think that the Panda in this movie is really a cute one. They bring the world of animation and entertainment to a great extent.
There are a lot of animated movies in market but this movie is a great entertainment for all age groups not only for children like other movie range.

Taylor Swift kept it classy when she appeared at the 2008 Glamour Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall last week in New York City. When she was asked what the biggest splurge she’s made since she made it big, she said “I think my biggest splurge so far has been my tour bus. If I’m spending money, it’s gonna be putting it back into my career. I don’t like to be extravagant any other place. My tour bus is really important because I live there. I’m there more than when I’m home. So, I put a fireplace on my tour bus and a flip-down treadmill and a really comfortable bed. I feel like I’m home whenever I’m on my tour bus. I do not regret that splurge.”

Justin Timberlake does his best Jessica Simpson impersonation as he stands in front of a cut-out of the aspiring country singer onstage as the host of the 2008 ESPY Awards which was held at NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles live on Wednesday. It looks like he had a lot of fun hosting. I can’t wait to see it on TV on Sunday. Justin also did the bit with Boston Celtics player puppets, a cut-out of golf superstar Tiger Woods, a cut-out of Tennessee basketball star Candace Parker and even a cut-out of Mr. Jessica Simpson Tony Romo. That should clear up why exactly he did a Jessica Simpson bit in a sports awards show.
Amy Wienhouse is expected to appear in a Norwegian courtroom this week. The singer has to show up in court in Bergen on Friday to contest her drug arrest. Wino was arrested in Norway last year on marijuana charges which is the alleged reason why she was initially denied entry to the US.
On the bright side of things, Amy is still doing well. Her CD ‘Back to Black’ has benefited from a huge sales increase following this past week’s Brit Awards. It’s actually expected to sail back to the top spot of the charts! Congratulations Amy! Don’t let anything bring you down.

Jordin Sparks worked the red carpet in a strapless brown dress at the 2008 NAACP Image Awards which was held at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium on Thursday. That was Valentine’s Day. I wonder if she had a date to the ceremony.
The 18-year old American Idol alum was honored by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) with the Outstanding New Artist award. Congratulations Jordin! It looks like she’s going places. Let’s just hope she lasts in this industry unlike many others from the reality hit show. So if you like the girl, you better show some love.

If you tell me that Ashlee Simpson is born to lead, I’d laugh in your face. But the singer did walk the gray carpet at the 2007 CosmoGIRL Born to Lead Awards at NYC’s Hearst Tower on Tuesday so I have to laugh at a lot of people now.
This year’s honorees included the singer/actree, Eva Amurri, Fall Out Boy, Jordin Sparks and the Jonas Brothers. They were all chosen for making their personal dreams come true or making a positive change in their communities. Ashlee made her dreams come true? I wasn’t even sure that she still has a job. And I highly doubt it’s for the other reason.
