On September 30, Walt Disney Records unveils Nightmare Revisited with 20 fresh recordings and beloved covers of the music, mayhem, and merriment from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Danny Elfman returns to recapture the musical landscape he masterfully created for the original The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack with two brand new recordings of the “Opening” and “Closing.” Adding a new tantalizing twist to Nightmare favorites, Nightmare Revisited also boasts an eclectic array of today’s music superstars including Korn, Amy Lee, Plain White T’s, Rise Against, Rodrigo y Gabriela, The All-American Rejects and more. Of course the soundtrack could not be complete without a popular ghost of Nightmare’s past: Marilyn Manson’s eerie cover of “This Is Halloween.”

Nicole Kidman and her country superstar husband Keith Urban are now the proud parents of a baby girl. The baby was born on Monday weighing in at 6 lbs, 7 oz and was named Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban. This is the first child together for the couple. Nicole has two other children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise. Their spokesman Paul Freundlich told People “Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side, and mother and baby are very well.” Congratulations to the couple! And welcome to the world Sunday Rose! The hunt for your picture has officially begun. I wonder if she’ll be featured in a cover of a magazine too.

‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford and country singing sweetheart Carrie Underwood have definitely split up. Sources have confirmed the split to Usmagazine.com. Their relationship lasted 9 months. Carrie had gone all the way to Dallas to hand out with Chace’s family at Thanksgiving and over the Christmas holidays but it still went to the dumps. That’s some interesting timing if you ask me. News of the couple splitting up came on the same day that JC Chasez proclaimed that he and Chace aren’t an item. There’s something fishy that still needs to be unearthed with those three I tell you.

From the beginning of her popularity, J.K. Rowling has admitted that her life pretty much hit rock bottom before her rise to fame with her Harry Potter series. She has now opened up even more to British media about those times.

Rowling says that she actually considered killing herself back in the early 1990s, after her separation from then husband Jorge Arantes. She says, “We’re talking suicidal thoughts here, we’re not talking ‘I’m a little bit miserable,’”

She says her daughter helped her through it. “The thing that made me go for help was probably my daughter”, she says. Her daughter Jessica was then an infant.

It’s so Britney and Justin, but you just have to hope that maybe they’re being for real. The Jonas Brothers are proudly proclaiming their plans to maintain their virginity.

The boys say they have made “promises to ourselves and to God that we’ll stay pure till marriage.” All three boys, Kevin, Joe, and Nick, all wear purity rings as a symbol of that vow.

As we all well know, that vow didn’t work for Britney Spears. But we can look to Jessica Simpson, who says she saved herself until her marriage to Nick Lachey. Sadly, they are no more. More recently, American Idol Jordin Sparks, who also wears a purity ring, says, “It’s hard everday, but I made a promise to myself.”

There was a set of t-shirt reading “Big Sis” and a onesie reading “Lil Bro”. There was also a set reading “Big Sis” and “Lil Sis”. Hmm….is that Katie’s way of telling us that she’s joining the recent celebrity baby boom? Maybe this is an early present for husband Tom’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman. She is pregnant with a baby who will be the half-sibling to Tom’s children with Nicole.

It’s true what they say. I pregnant woman really can “bloom”. There are even certain men that will tell you that the most beautiful thing in the world is a pregnant woman – and they don’t just say that to please their wives.

To personify the image Halle Berry is looking gorgeous, as she makes no effort to hide her pregnant belly during a shopping spree in LA. With only two weeks until the due date of her first-born child, Halle looks fit to burst in a tight fitting mini dress; making this childbearing business look a breeze.

Halle and her partner Gabriel Aubry have chosen not to find out the sex prior to the baby’s birth, which is estimated to be Valentines Day.

Seems Hilary Duff is the latest person to be accused of participating in lip synching during concert performances. Some reports say she was lip synching during a concert in Mexico over the weekend.

Her reps say that’s just not true. They says her sound equipment was faulty and her mic was set on mute. So, when she was singing into the microphone, no sound was coming out of the speakers. Her reps say she was actually singing.
