When alleged nude photos of Rihanna surfaced on the internet, a lot of people have speculated that it was Chris Brown who was responsible for the leak. The R&B singer has recently released a statement to Essence in which he denies any involvement. His spokesperson said “This is both a false and defamatory statement. Chris has not released or ‘leaked’ any photos of Rihanna (or anyone else for that matter).” I’m not really sure if I believe that or if anyone believes that. And what’s with the whole “or anyone else for that matter”? Does that mean that he has nude pictures of other people lying around somewhere?
Despite earlier suggestions to the contrary, Rihanna is reportedly refusing to cooperate with the Los Angeles District Attorney prosecuting Chris Brown. Apparently, the misguided Barbadian babe just wants the whole thing to go away and is not pleased with the leaked police photo or being immediately identified as the R&B singer’s victim. However, her lack of cooperation may backfire since it turns her into an enabler rather than a sympathetic victim and commercial sponsors may not be down with that. Regardless of her participation, the DA has already got a good case against Chris. Whether she likes it or not, it’s likely that justice will be served.
Everyone has their two cents to throw in regarding the alleged beating of Rihanna by Chris Brown. Mixed martial artist Din Thomas is the most recent one to speak out. Din knocked his opponent last weekend and offered an encore with Chris. Din made quick work of Gabe Lemley and then grabbed the mic after the fight and told the crowd that he’d loved to take on Rihanna’s alleged abuser. Din said “It’s not cool to put your hands on a woman. So Rihanna, if you want someone to kick his ass, holler at me.” Get in line buddy. There’s a lot of people who want to get their hands on Chris.
Chris Brown, accused in a case for hitting and threatening girlfriend Rihanna has withdrawn his name from this month’s Kids’ Choice Awards so that he may not have to face embarrassment due to his actions.
Chris Brown was nominated for two awards, one for favorite song ‘Kiss Kiss’ and the other being Favorite Male Singer, the show is host on the children’s TV network Nickelodeon. In a statement Chris Brown’s reps have said that would speak to his fans at a later date because right now with his criminal case pending he cannot speak at the moment.
Speak to his fans, he would have no fans as of now and if there ever exist a fan of this rotten man then that person needs to take counseling so that help can be provided to that person as in making a difference between hooligans and mentally unfit people. Chris Brown for me is mentally unfit and the same goes for Rihanna.
Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, is speaking out about the disturbing photo of his daughter taken just moments after she was assaulted by Chris Brown. In an interview, the Barbadian beauty’s dad said “Yeah, I saw it. It’s disturbing.” He also adds that people will now be able to grasp the situation a lot better after having seen the picture. He said “It’s good and it’s bad to see the picture because there’s other people who were thinking differently, that [Rihanna's injuries] may not be that bad, just a little spank or a little thing.” If the photo was taken before the bruises and swelling even had time to fully manifest, I would hate to imagine how badly hurt she looked the days following after.
Everybody’s still talking about the violent event that happened between Chris Brown and Rihanna. Almost everyone in Chris’ family is talking to the press about it, but there’s no word from the singer. No one even knows where he is. Rumors are going around that he’s actually in Las Vegas. It’s being reported that the alleged woman beater has taken to hiding at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. People from the hotel haven’t been able to confirm whether he is there or not but they did say that a few of Chris’ friends are currently rooming there. It’s not too hard to connect the dots after that piece of info leaked.
It has been speculated that Rihanna will not be doing shows in Asia and it has been made official earlier this week that the Barbadian babe has postponed her Friday concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A new date will be announced in the near future though. In a statement, the concert promoter said “We sincerely regret this unavoidable shift in schedule and apologize to the fans for any inconvenience caused.” I’m sure her Malaysian fans completely understand and just want her to get all better. I really hope she gets to move on quickly after this issue. She deserves so much better then Chris Brown.
Rihanna was spotted wearing a Minnie Mouse ears hat as she enjoyed some time off at the happiest place on earth last week at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. And look at that cute silver bow purse that she’s carrying! It’s like a theme she has going. Bow on bow. She can be the human incarnate of Minnie Mouse with that whole get up of hers. And she is the cutest Minnie Mouse that there will ever be. I wonder where her boyfriend Chris Brown is in all this. Maybe he was trying to find a similar Mickey Mouse get up.
Rihanna is on the cover of the latest issue of InStyle magazine looking fresh and fabulous as always. In the accompanying interview, she talks about her hair, her style and even her future. On her future, she said “…In 10 years I want to have already started my family and have some business of my own. A fashion line, a makeup line, and I still want to be doing what I’m doing at a much bigger capacity—by the grace of God!” Well, she already has an umbrella line so I’m sure the whole business thing will work out soon. As for the family, I wonder if the not-yet-confirmed boyfriend Chris Brown is going to be part of her family picture.
Rihanna prefers to be friends with a guy before she dates them.
The ‘Umbrella’ singer – who is rumoured to be dating R’n’B star Chris Brown – has revealed her top tip for romance is to befriend a guy as it is ‘easier to flirt’.
She said; “When I fancy a boy I always start off by hanging out with him in a group. It’s easier to flirt with him as there’s no one-on-one pressure, but he’ll still see you’re the one giving him all the looks and attention.”
Despite rumours Rihanna is dating ‘Run It!’ singer Brown, she insists they are just ‘best friends’.
She previously said: “We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister. I won’t say that we’re just friends – me and Chris are really best, best friends.” However, she added: “Most of my boyfriends have started out as friends first, although there are some friends I could never look at like that.”
Rihanna has previously been linked to Hollywood actors Josh Hartnett and Shia LaBeouf.
Chris Brown and Rihanna are still on the “we’re just friends” phase of their relationship even if they’ve been spotted all over the place being all cuddly. If they’re still on that, maybe they should tell their friends that as well because American Idol champ Jordin Sparks actually out-ed them to UK’s Young Voices. When asked about the relationship status of her friends and whether they’re dating, Jordin says “Yeah, they are. It was really cool because I walked on the set and she was sitting there with Chris Brown and I was like I can’t believe she’s here. She came and she told me that she loved “No Air”, and that it was one of her favourite songs. It was really cool hearing that from one of my peers. She just wanted to support him.”
Rihanna showed up to the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards which was held in Los Angeles this past Saturday looking a little less than perfect. She’s slipping down on her style icon status again. Her stylists dressed her up in a fitting top and a loose-fitting pair of skinny jeans. It sounds redundant but that’s the only way I could describe her pants. But who cares anyway? It’s Rihanna! But it must have been awkward walking down that red carpet for the new Princess of Pop. Both the Barbadian singer’s current flame, Chris Brown, and rumored ex-boyfriend, , were also there.
