Dating back to 1816, the illustrious Blue Italian pattern is based on themes of ancient Italy, blended together from a selection of architecture and scenery from local regions of the country at this time. The composition of scenes effortlessly merge together to form the classic picture, gracefully decorated by the rolling Imari border taken from Japanese porcelain.
